Default RX-7 V8 for trade for turbo Miata

Hey all. I have a 1986 RX-7 with a Chevy 350 and T5 5 speed manual trans. Overall pretty clean car, straight and solid body. Looking to possibly trade for a clean, solid, running and driving turbo Miata. If interested, let me know what you have.

Below are some specs on my car:

-1987 Chevy 350 with 600cm double pumper Holley carb, wrapped shorty headers with dual exhaust all the way back, MSD ignition (recent oil change, spark plugs, etc..)
-T-5 5pd trans, new clutch, custom drive shaft
-Mount kits from Granny's Speedshop
-Newer fuel pump
-New 3hp mini starter thermo wrapped, new battery
-Enkei 17' rims with Toyo Proxxes w/ 80% tread left
-good brakes, 4 piston calipers up front (yes, they are painted a purplish color, but actually don't look bad with the color of the body)
-suspension is nice and tight
-interior is ok, could use nicer seats and a few miscellaneous plastic pieces
-Needs speedo hooked up (think just a ring gear, but haven't addressed the problem yet) and tach hooked up
-Approximately 130,000 on the body, don't know mileage of engine/trans
-Runs and drives real nice. Torquey.

More pictures and info available. Email me: mjmoonwalker@hotmail.com or private message me. Thanks!

Hey a local!

Thats the same swap I wanted to do with my FC before I sold it. Ever run it at the track?

Looks clean, i love me a v8 swap.

I also wonder what this thing would do at the 1/4.

It would be so easy to get 400-450 hp out of that.
it would drink gas though.....But in the form it is now, and a 600 carb with 5-speed. It might not be bad.

I'm curious what it'd do at the track as well. It's not insanely/scary fast since it's a more mild V8 but it does pull pretty damn strong, and keeps pulling. Plenty of torque on tap whenever wanted as well. If I had to guess and compared to other cars I've driven, gotta be somewhere in the 13's.

Apex- Pretty nice numbers your getting there w/ your Miata!

Are those calipers supposed to be pink? Or are the really faded red?

EDIT: Nevermind, just re-read the original post...they aren't "purple-ish", they're pink.

Hey OldSkool... do I know you? You happen to work with Oceaneering often?

Disturbed: Where are your whereabouts?

KPLAFIN: You SHOULD believe everything you read. Not only are the calipers a purplish color, but the hood is actually the same color as the rest of the car, just a weird effect from the angle of the sun and filter on the camera

Arkmage: I have no idea what Oceaneering is and I've only been to Texas once. I'm afraid you are mistaken.
