A well balanced overall package, the torque is enough to sniff the redline in 5th on long track straightaways, but modestly and safely tuned to stay reliable for years at a time, not minutes. The bespoke Penske's are magical and bring the platform to the next level, no more mucking around with merely good dampers. - remove turbo
- put CARB legal intake
- remove aftermarket header and exhaust, unless they have CA OE CARB stickers for this year
- have working catalytic converter
- have all O2 sensors in place and working
- possibly set timing within manufacturer's spec (there is a cut off date, but I don't remember what it is)
- there are also other items, but these above are most important
