I am pretty sure it's the same car. I have a picture from 2010 Nationals on my desk and its has the same blue driver seat, wheels, and flares (the splitter was added in 2011 after I drove it). The cars been passed around a few times since Darren sold it in 2011-12. I knew the owner after Darren repainted to a green color, I think? The motor specs are also the same to Darren's down to the gutted intake. I'd loved to have bought it back in 2012 when it was first sold, even more so today, but got a kiddo on the way and a road racing habit.

That is Darby's old car. He sold it to Bryan Hertweck who worked for Cornwell..then I'm not sure who he sold it to from there.
Knowing both Darren and Bryan very well. I can absolutely vouch for the quality of the car when it left Bryan's hands. This is a SCREAMING deal for someone who wants a car that with a set of 15x11s and a few minor upgrades would be ready to compete for podium finishes in the class.
When it was Darby's
When it was getting painted

If I had the cash I'd be seriously interested. Been jonesing for a CSP Miata for a long while and it's not helping that the NDs are stomping on us S2000s in STR the last year and a half.
Any shots of the engine bay? More curious than anything. What was the weight on the Nats scales?

An additional update, we may be trying to sell the x9 6UL's with Hoosier Wets desperately to reduce vehicle cost. If you're interested let me know and I'll do what I can to make this the right deal for someone.
