F/S white 91 low milleage with extras
Im selling my white mazda miata package A which includes power steering, AC, and Viscous LSD. Its a 91 with 42000 Original Miles. The engine runs strong and has no modifications. The exterior and interior are both in great condition. The top has no holes or punctures and no patches. The AC blasts cold air. There is an added alpine cd player in the car. Also there are a few other extras including a hard dog Roll bar with harness bar and double diagonal bars, its powder coated black. The roll bar was about $850. Toyo T1R tires 215/45/15 have been added to all four corners last May. The front end has been made more aggressive with the addition o
f a black factory air dam that came with the R package miatas. To improve stopping the stock rotors and pads were replaced with slotted rotors and hawk hp+ pads. The stock wheels have also been replaced with black Nippon wheels that have a chrome lip. Also included with the car but not installed is a Torsen 3.9 LSD that came from a 99 miata that had 48000 miles. This LSD is far superior to the Viscous LSD, and great for a turbo or supercharger application this was bought at $1100. And for winter there is a white factory hardtop with defrost this sells used for 1000 +. And also for winter the stock "daisy" wheels are already mounted with Hankook all season tires with 80% treadlife still left. For all the parts Ive listed and the car I'm willing to sell at 8000. This price is firm. Please only serious inquires only.
Thank you

viscous LSD must have been added to the car?? and I don't get why people think low mileage Miatas are worth so much, they run forever for crying out loud. plus, cars that sit build up carbon on the valves. I know of 3 pristine Cali Miatas with matching hardtops for sale under $4k right now with no worries of salt or winter abuse. good luck though, someone might bite.

the car alone is probably worth 5500? Then the hardtop $1000, roll bar $850, stock wheels with tires, plus the new T1Rs $450, and the 3.9 LSD $1100. That seems about fair. Its hard to say what its "really" worth, whats more important is what someone is willing to pay for it.
Yes the car it self is worth about $5500, top $1000, but the rollbar is $450 brand new. I don't know where you got your rollbar, but if you paid $850 for that you got rip off.

The new tires are a zero. Bald tires are a subtraction, ones with tread, no matter how new, add nothing.
A realistic value of the torsen is $800...if its an entire swap, best off to sell it alone.
Hard Dog roll bars dont add any real sales price value to the car. What you paid for it is irrellevant....and the HD DD is available at $450 as already indicated.
Your estimate of $5500 (or in that range) is probably close to the total value of your car w/hardtop. That being said, I dont fault a fellow for trying.
Good luck!

The car is worth what someone will pay for it. Make an offer on it, or not. Either way, there's no need to bash the car, or its asking price, in this thread.
The car is priced high, but does also come with some extra stuff. Realistically, what this seller needs to do is get the car as close to stock as reasonably possible, and sell the extras seperately (diff swap and wheels).
This car, a good looking 40k mile 17 year old car w/ hardtop, will fetch a pretty penny in a closer to stock condition.
There is no need from parties uninterested in purchasing this vehicle to further reply.

Unfortunately arriving at market values doesnt involve simply adding up the $$ spent on mods and tires.
