Default Creampuff, the Blackbird Fabworx demo NB

Need to make room and free up some cash, putting both Creampuff and my Lotus 7 replica FS.
Built in 2011, won 2012 Miata Challenge super mod championship and runner up in 2013.
First (only?) stock power Miata to have ever lap BRP 13CW sub-2:00.
Build log - The Blackbird Fabworx Time Attack Build - Creampuff

What's in it -

2002 chassis, super clean and straight (that's how the car got the name Creampuff..)
18 point production style low hoop cage, goes from the front shock towers to the rear towers
Integrated, lowered and centered seat mount, tunnel cut, will accommodate a good variety of driver sizes.
~75% seam welded
VERY stiff chassis, big difference from an average SM cage.
Well under 2000 Lbs. w/o the aero, ~2020 Lbs. w/ aero, 2200 Lbs. with aero in single seater config with me in it (I'm ~180 ish).
All nicely painted inside

Bodywork that comes with the car can be configured as a two seater or a single seater.
MANY hours spent on this, more than I care to remind myself right before I need to price it for sale.
Everything was made to allow a quick change, no more than 3-4 mins to switch from one to the other.

Car can come with or without aero.
It goes faster with aero, but the cost is obviously going to be higher.

Energy Suspension poly bushings all around
Halon mechanical fire system
NRG hub and quick release
Sparco Monza steering wheel
Carbon trunk lid

What's not in it currently (but can be added as desired) -

No drivetrain currently, took it out with the intent to do a K24 engine swap using an S2000 trans, decided to change plans and concentrate on my other car.
Can be had without drivetrain, with partial drivetrain (trans & diff), or as a complete running car with a number of parts combos.
Will be quick even with no more than a typical 140-150 RWHP engine, with a 250-260 RWHP K24 swap it'll be a giant killer.
This is running a 101 RWHP engine / 6 speed / 4.3 LSD -

No seat, bring your own or purchase a new one, we can do the installation for you if desired.

No proper racing coilovers, our Penskes were swapped over to the other car but can put them back if desired ($4K setup, DA remote reservoirs, magic in a canister) or drop in your favorite Miata coilovers from any other vendor.
Rolls around on a set of stock shocks currently.

Price -

Depending on how you want it, can be had as a roller, a runner or a fully prepped car. With aero or without...
Can vary quite a bit between all the options ($8-25K or so), but I'm ready to move it so call me or shoot me an email if you're interested.
Not selling any parts separately until the car sells, I will list what's left after it sells if there's anything left.

Pics of Creampuff if her full glory -

That looks badass, I generally don't check the locost7 forums to much. Mostly because I time I look it makes me want to get started on building one of my own. I am going to now spend the afternoon reading through your build thread fantasizing about the day I can start on my build. I am also afraid of the same thing happening as what did to you, 10 years building the thing and never getting to drive it.

The time wasn't right for me.
Started this car in 2006 and progress was quick before our first girl was born but pretty much stopped after.
Then we started looking for a house because the market was ripe, so all funds went that way (yes, even my E46 M3 LSB turned into a part of the down payment)..
Moved into a new place, lost a job, got another job that paid like **** working for a business owner that was even shittier than the pay, had my second girl born...
Started Blackbird Fabworx and needed a car to show off what we do, so I got Creampuff and the 7 was on the back burner again... here we are, 10 years later and I just don't see myself getting to it any time soon, it eats up a ton of space and has thousands of dollars worth of parts that I can use for other things.

I'll build another 7 for sure one day, I love these cars.
