Cheap car for sale: Audi Coupe GT
If anyone needs a cheap, running car:
1985 Audi Coupe GT
Charcoal black over grey leather
Body is in pretty nice shape, especially considering the age
Paint is OK, but could stand to be buffed up and waxed
5 speed manual
Alloys with new tires
Runs & drives fine
Radio was stolen, but there was no damage done to the car.
<edit/update>
Known problems:
Both power windows do not work. I haven't looked into why.
The a/c is converted to 134a. It needs to be recharged once a year
The drivers' exterior door handle is inop. The interior handle works fine, so probably the linkage needs to be reconnected. Hasn't been looked into.
</edit>
I'll take pics if anyone is interested
$1000
Below picture is not actual car for sale. It is representative of the car though. This one looks the same, but the paint isn't as nice.

No. It's priced to sell. It's a perfect first car for a teenager, or college student.
It's a lot of car for the money. They seem to have a cult following, including people who like to turbo them.

Exactly why I thought it might be an april fools thing. Didn't the turbo version of this car get banned from rally because they had an unfair advantage at one time? Good luck with the sale.

Only 67k miles on it. Runs and drives fine. Fuel distributor was just replaced.
The interior isn't perfect. One of the seats has a split on a seam. But it has a seat cover on it.
The air has been converted to 134, and blows cold. My father says it requires a charge once a year.
The power windows don't work. I haven't explored why. Because they both don't work, it may be as simple as a fuse. Or it may not be. It hasn't been looked into yet.
The driver's side door handle does not work. The interior handle does. Should be an easy fix. Again, it hasn't been looked into yet.
I couldn't find anything else wrong with it. If I have free time, I'll explore the power windows and door handle issues.
