99 10 AE K20 Swap, BBFW, Xidas
Folks I hate to have to do this but the time has come for me to sell my K swap miata, I have some business opportunities and need the cash. I have hardly driven the car over the past year anyways and it is to solid a car to sit in my garage.
I will list the big ticket items here, there is a link to my build thread at the bottom of this post, if you are really interested you can go check this out and see the whole journey the car has been on with me.
It is a 99 10 AE 133k miles, salvaged title, no frame damage but the paint/body work is in bad shape, this car was purchased with the intention of tracking it hard so i was not concerned with the exterior condition. It had a 6 speed, Torsion Diff and Bilsteins, plus the 10 AE blue is an awesome color even if the paint is in terrible condition.
- K20A2 swap done with KMiata swap kit, running on Kpro. Supermiata clutch. Has AC kit installed but someone with more time will have to run down how to get it to function as i have not had the time or desire to do so.
- Blackbird Fab Works GT3 Roll Bar
- Xidas, full pillow ball top mounts, can get specs for serious buyer (also have the budget Billie setup i ran prior that will go with the car, 1 shock is leaking though)
- Has race seat, quick release wheel and harnesses (6 point Simpson on driver side and 5 point G force on passenger) I am planning to keep the Bride seat, it is a knock off and has a lot of sentimental value. The sparco is real and will come with the car.
- Konig wheels, cant remember the exact model, they are 15x8 and come with Kumho V720's in good shape, they have a couple track days on them but that is it, plenty of life in them.
- Full poly bushing kit, it is just the standard energy suspension kit in black.
- All new ball joints and tie rods, every wear item under the car is new except the wheel bearings
- Supermiata brake lines, ATE fluid, Hawk HP+ pads all around with 85%+ life left (have a new set of rotors for all 4 corners that will come with the car)
- Mishimoto radiator, hoses are built from aluminum pipes, the only rubber in the system is attaching the pipes together, also has the K tuned swivel T stat housing. heater is functional, all new hoses.
- Walbro fuel pump, RDX injectors (new), stock fuel rail
- Header was modified to give better ground clearance with the K20, exhaust is 3", built using Borla race muffler and a resonator (cant remember brand at the moment). It is in rough shape for a couple reasons, i built it myself and it was my first TIG welding adventure, so it was never pretty but it also scrapes on my driveway now, it is still functional, just full disclosure it aint fancy.
- Has 4 gauges inside the car, AEM air fuel, prosport oil press, oil temp, water temp. stock cluster is functional minus the engine temp gauge.
