Default 96 turbo with 02 VVT, MSPNP Pro, in Maine

so its time for me to move on to a new project and to do so i need to let go of the old one.

1996 Green miata... not the prettiest girls at the dance but can she dance.
Regularly a top 10 raw time car (top 3 fender with the right driver)
02 VVT engine swap with ~75K on the bottom end and less than 5k on a rebuilt top end
Timing belt and oil pump were done at this time
Modified fuel rail w/external pressure regulator
Wasted spark coil on plug
variable chamber valve removed
front mount Motul Oil Cooler
Front mount PS cooler
Remote mount Oil Filter

Modified FM II Turbo kit
FM II Log manifold with GT2560R Turbo
Modified DP to fit to a 3"exhaust
FM Front mount IC and blow-off valve
Currently running at 8 psi (gate pressure)

MS PNP Pro (MS3X Plug and Play)
Has a good road tune on it now will need dyno time to make full potential
Converted to Speed density
EBC (Installed not wired) to get to 12 PSI
Sequential fuel injection
Can be wired for COP
Wide Band O2 sensor w/ gauge

15X8 Konig Flatout (red / polished lip) 12.8 lbs ea
Kanhook Ventus RS3 currently mounted (95% gone) 225/45/15
Will pull greater than 1G with this set-up
Comes with factory daisy wheels and a set of steel wheels

RX7 Clutch type LSD rear end

Koni Yellow (sport) struts with coil sleeves and upgrades springs (Can't remember rates right now)

Modified drivers seat for tall driver and additional bolstering along with other interior modifications
Top keeps water out.....

WHAT IT NEEDS: (not much)
Will need tires if you want this to be a competative auto-X car.
needs a bit of rust fixed on the pass. rear fender and rocker corner. (very small)
Have new hood (current is steel) and trunk lid (got backed into my truck) just need to be installed.
Top has a plexi glass window right now. would be better with vinyl but it works and keeps the water out. (complicates putting it down)
could use a paint job or dip... its a few diffrent colors of blue/green from previouse rust repair.

Looking for $5000 OBRO im going to keep picking away at this list so the longer this sit the less im going to want to wiggle on the price

No A/C, has PS and a cooler so that it will stay that way even during hot auto-x days.

Here is avideo of the car on the current suspension, wheels, turbo, and engine. it had the link and VVTuner at the time now running the MSPNP Pro.
i took most of last year off because even on wastegate pressure it managed to rip second gear out of the trans.(been replaced)
Results from Loring. (Largest peice of tarmac used for auto-x in the country.)
http://www.cumberlandmotorclub.com/resu ... ay_raw.htm my car finished 2nd and 3rd in raw time only being beat by a shifter kart. (it was on bias ply slicks at this point)

to give a better answer about the A/C thing.... it only has defrost. the vent selector was broken when i was rewiring for something broken.....so i pulled in at installed the fan control in a peice of carbon i had.

This seems to be a great deal. Other than the general silliness of taking a northern car to Florida, or the additional silliness of driving all those miles in the luxurious comfort of an NA miata, do you think the car would be up for a fly and drive eastern seaboard trek? You know anything about temporary license plates in Maine?

this can can make that trip. you would need to get a temp reg. would need to look into how a temp registration would work in maine.
i have driven it all over new england and up to Loring and back twice (5 hrs each way) and run auto-x event between. thats the amazing part of having alow miles NB engine

What clutch are you running? Doesn't look like that made it into the ad.

So i think i forgot to mention that the car has a full set of pully bushing in it as well.
The drivers seat has also been modified (Foamectomy, bottom and back) to fit a 6' plus driver.
the pictures below show the small rust sport that need to addressed. as well at the general condition of the rest of the car..... i know i went a little crazy a few years back with the colors in the engine bay.
I have replacements for the trunk and the hood. car can also come with all the NA engine bits i have left over as well as 2 more sets of wheels if the original asking price is met.
Top is in OK condition... not pretty just functional

rear window was replaced with a peice of stiff plexi

drivers rock by rear wheel

surface rust from where sand has taken the paint off

i have a diffrent truck with out the speed bump provided by the F350

this fender is the worst with one small hole from where i rolled the lip and the second one forming

current hood is steel and in ehhhh shape. i have an aluminum replacement but it is red.

the turbo parts

FMIC and Motol oil cooler.
