95 Turbo - including Extras

95 Turbo - including Extras
Finally coming to terms that it's not feasible (for me right now) to have a 2 seater that actually gets driven. Here are the basics:
Vehicle located north of Greensboro, NC.
$7500 includes the car and all the extras $6500 for the car and all "back to stock" components
1995 Miata, 5 speed, 93,xxx miles
FM turbo kit w/ larger intercooler
2.5" FM exhaust
FM clutch
450cc DW injectors
MS2 PNP
Forged internals
Rebuild / internals installed by Rossini Racing, around 1000 miles ago
crossflow radiator and hood vents
stock suspension (I know, roast me - I ran out of money)
More details:
Turbo kit basics were purchased from a member here 3 years ago. Had 10k or so at that time on the kit. I've only put 2k more on it. Great shape. Turbo has no issues, spools well and is on wastegate pressure (10psi or so) Tuned with DIY Autotune and MUCH reading on this forum - thanks everyone for posting great tables.
Engine build:
Eagle forged rods, wiseco forged 84mm 8.5:1 pistons, ARP head and exhaust studs, ACL race bearings, oil pump shimmed; heads/springs/valves were checked and in "great condition not needing anything new" according to Rossini, who builds spec miata engines for a living … I trust him!
Cooling:
949 racing crossflow radiator
Hawley performance coolant reroute
singular hood vends
Misc
AEM wideband/failsafe boost + AFR (2 in 1 … it's really neat)
tires with less than 900 miles
NB2 steering wheel, because I thought the NA was super ugly. (Airbag intact)
AC works because I bypassed the ECU to have it run - tuned it to idle about 1100 to accommodate the extra load of A/C at idle. Was recharged last summer but must have a leak - no cold air this year (New AC Dryer and hi side AC line installed prior to vacuum/recharge last year)
This VIN was under a "watch" for the airbag module to cause the airbags to deploy when they shouldn't. A new module was installed so this doesn't blow up on your face.
Extras:
additional MS2 ECU - purchased here before I found someone selling a kit with the ECU. Comes from Ohio ECU solutions and includes all cables. I plugged it in just for fun after loading the same tune and it ran just the same. Been meaning to sell it on here for about 3 years now and here we are.RX7 460cc injectors - I upgraded to the EV14 because I wanted more consistent tuning potential [Moved to "parts for sale"]
stock parts - extra flywheel, exhaust with aftermarket muffler, injectors
Reroute hose for water section of turbo - either no PS or no AC cars only (not sure which - mine has both) - Make offer, plus shipping or pickup
Exip 14x6 or 14x6.5 (basket-weave style - google says they are made of a magnesium alloy - lighter than the stock NBs I had when I had my NB - and were made in the 80s and 90s. Been sandblasted but never got around to restoring them. no bends or issues, but no center caps or tires.
Additional faces for the wideband (in case you want AFR in the middle, and boost/vacuum on outside or white faces instead of black
brake pads (unsure of brand … definitely not performance orientated though)
Slotted brake rotors
moss shifter rebuild kit (I was gonna do the NB too when I had it but sold it first)
Haynes manual - very used condition
other random Miata pieces I'm not thinking of - you can have it all!
Known Issues:
Bumper has paint peeling in the crevices on the nose - see picture
Only been dyno-ed immediately after engine build (180 hp / 185lb-ft is what he said - he didn't have a printout and was not comfortable tuning the MS ecu - those numbers were based on the tune that the previous owner of the kit had - done by someone in NJ, I think. I tweaked it to fit my prior stock engine, of course, but not too much) Engine ought to be broken in after the 1,000 miles and I've tinkered with the tune a little bit as I went. It's enjoyable as-is, but a professional might be able to squeeze out a little more hp and fun.
Scratches on the hood when I installed the hood vents … I took my protective tape off, then decided to put scratches near the holes like a fool.
Small hole starting to form in the top near the rear window on passenger side - I put some black silicone so it doesn't leak, but that's only a temp fix.
Would benefit from a catch can (has the "upgraded 323 gtx" PCV valve)
I've appreciated reading what many of you have written to help people DIY a miata turbo. Please let me know if you have any questions. I can PM specific pictures if interested. Please be patient as I work and have a toddler-monster to contend with.
Finally selling because we are rebuilding our deck and composite decking is more important (I guess) than a car that only gets driven maybe once a month. Not interested in parting the car - no time for that!
Thanks,
Aaron
