Default '93 LE - what is a good price?

Mods, please nuke this if it's the wrong sub.

I need to sell my '93 LE, but I have no idea on what it's worth.

The good:

~100k miles
Interior is nicer than other LE's I've seen (seats are re-dyed with Leatherique, no tears or wear)

Work in the last 5k miles:
- Timing belt
- Water pump
- Thermostat
Suspension refresh:
- Energy suspension poly bushings
- New bushings on Bilstein shocks
- replace sway bar end links
- zerk fittings on control arms for poly bushing lubrication
- new Frankenstein bolts
- Fat Cat motorsports shock mounts and progressive bump stops for the LE
- Flying Miata suspension spacer on the front
- Flying Miata stainless frame rails

Work in the last 10k miles:

- BEGI S (with Garret 2554 turbocharger) turbo kit
- Braineack built MS2
- 320cc green top injectors (cleaned and balanced)
- MAF delete
- BMW variable TPS
- Stainless cat back Racing Beat exhaust
- Magnaflow high flow cat
- AEM wideband O2

- Rebuilt shifter with synthetic grease

The Bad:

- Car was hit in the rear early in it's life. Damage was the trunk and rear quarter panels. The car has a branded (salvage) title as a result of this accident.
- The body looks great from 10 feet, but it is a 25 year old car and has blemishes.
- It's running 14' daisy wheels, and the tires should be replaced. If I was keeping it, I'd move to 15 inch rims.

Overall, it's a well sorted turbo Miata that has been bullet proof reliable and is a hoot to drive.

What would you guys suggest as an asking price?
I'll get a real add with pictures up soon!
Jim

Salvage is a serious issue, but upgrades are good for sure. I would say around $4-5K to the right buyer

Bingo. If it were a nice, clean title car I'd say 6-7k. Obviously part out would net way more money.

You need to post some pictures. You are going to be in a very weird situation that you probably won't be happy with. The people who want a clean 93LE interior absolutely don't want a salvage car. They also most likely do not want a turbo car. So realistically the LE interior is not going to "add" value in this case. The re-dyed are also a negative in the eyes of a LE fan.

I think if you get in the $4k-$5k range you should be happy. If I was in your shoes I would part out all the turbo bits and revert the car as close to stock as possible. Then see what you can get for the salvage LE. If it does not get bites you may be better off swapping in a black interior and selling off all the red interior pieces yourself.

Not everyone cares about LE. I would say most buyers just see it as any other miata. Me included.

with the mods you have, I think 4-5k is reasonable price to ask.

or take off the mods, they might be worth around $2k, and car can be priced around $3k.

Thanks for the guidance, folks!
I figured the salvage title would hit pretty hard.
It's not going to be appealing to an LE purist, but it is a well sorted, fun little car that doesn't look too shabby.
