350 RWHP LS1 Miata - Charleston, SC
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1990 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - South Carolina.
Engine Size: 350 CI
Asking price is $10,000
I'm looking to sell my V8 Miata project (bad back = too much pain to finish it). The car runs and is street ready. The car is very ugly and has a cracked windshield. Comes with a second "pretty" Miata that has been seam welded and sound proofed. I have the heat shielding ready to go in but it has not been installed. Professionally tuned on the dyno to 350 RWHP. The car will get 30 MPG on the interstate (barely above idle in 6th gear). This is a ridiculously scary death machine. I'm asking $10,000 and you can see the car here and all details here:

Yes, there is something sticking out of the hood. I kind of like it but if you don't it will cost about $20 to fix (just add a 90 degree intake hose). The 2nd Miata has a hood without holes so you can keep everything under wraps.
This video was shot before the car was tuned:
Not many pics of the 2nd car but you can see it here (the hard top was removed and sold):

If I don't sell the car will I cut a hole in the hood of my swap car when the drive train gets moved over? Absolutely not. But it was fun while it lasted.

What kit was used to put the V8 in? What did you use to bolt up the rear end and transmission. I think it would be a fun car.

That is a boss frog k-member. The tranny and diff mount are custom. More info is on the page listed above.

An LSX Miata is a totally different experience to rip around in coming out of corners and sliding the butt around. Straight line wheelspin is also fun. I'm considering doing another one (quicker turnaround this time) and this is tempting. Someone buy it before I show up with another Miata and my wife repos my nuts.
