330hp 93 pump gas built motor 2871 NB1 with hardtop and goodies
Car has sold. Stoked for the new owner. Hope he enjoys it in good health.
Selling my miata turbo group project.
Asking price $12,000 with hard top. Open to reasonable offers. Interested parties please message me here with your phone number and I will reach out.
Priced in hope of a quick sale but open to offers. Selling a built 2000 miata. Dynoed at 300 on a mustang dyno then tuned further and made 330. Current is good for 350 easy. Built motor has maybe 5k miles on it. Wheels are currently the advantis with the break dust wear in the pictures. BFG rivals have good tread.
Owned this car since 2016 in MA and previous owner was from NH. Always garage kept. Moved to PA in 2019 and no longer have access to a garage. Car is not driven in the winter, but sat outside for the last 2 winters. No QP rust or any of that. I've driven this current build from MA to PA and between PA and NJ plenty. It's tuned and drives fine. I can share the most updated tune file with the buyer.
Selling because:
Residency is rough and I need to be a grown up and get a daily that isn't a rusting car from 2006.
The good : build is legit. I didn't skimp on parts. Hard top included. Many uninstalled parts that could be included I didn't list including harness bar, second free flowing kraken exhaust, LS coil big spark kit, hitch...
The bad : I'd rate it 7/10 on condition alone. The hood looks bad, but honestly someone should get a new one to keep the stealthy look alive.
NB2 headlight and taillight swap looks nice but the bumper doesn't match the car.
Car used to start getting hot with AC on when it was very hot out. Front plate made this worse, but don't need one in PA. Delete the AC or add an oil cooler. Coolant lines should be refreshed.
TLDR;
Big power miata for sale. Looking for responsible driver that will take this to the track and autocross and won't wrap this around a pole.
No body/QP rust. Mechanically sound, aesthetically could use some love.
Car is located in Fairless Hills PA and has PA plates. Currently hasn't been inspected since being registered over the winter because it hasn't moved. The horn just stopped working one day and I haven't had a chance to look at it yet.
Forgot to mention it has AWR mounts as well.

Car is still available. Open to offers. Likely going to start cleaning everything up and posting better pics etc.
Edit: 4/2. Pulled the car off FB. Will spend some time cleaning it up and update pictures. Will update this thread as it goes. Want to clean up the paint and touch a few things up so it doesn't look worse than it actually is. I did a really bad job presenting the car. Oops.

I was happy to end the project with the car that ran and would actually start and drive when I wanted it to. Seller bought it with the understanding that everything runs and works but it has been neglected slightly since I started residency so will likely need a once over. I talked to him on the phone twice for about an hour total and flat out told him that there wasn't any chassis rust but the paint was maybe a 7/10. It'll likely be an 8/10 once he goes through and details it but I honestly didn't have the time or patience for that.
I'm going to miss that car. I learned so much on the platform and it ended up being ******* fast. The best part was that I completely trusted my motor. The engine builder had been working on old school drag cars for decades and pretty much laughed when I told him what I wanted to bring in to have worked on. He pretty much epitomized what I think of that gen of motorheads... grouchy, 'my way or take it somewhere else', but full of knowledge and open to share it if you want to listen. I walked into his garage workshop and he had a pantera sitting in there. What a sweet car.
