Default 2008 Volkswagen GTI - $19000 OBO

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 2008 Volkswagen GTI for sale, in USA - California.

Mileage: 31000 miles
Engine Size: 2.0

Asking price is $19000 OBO

Looking to get a 99-00 miata modded or stock for a trade. You would basically get a loan to pay off my car and I would finance one for your car. Or just buy my car lol.

2008 GTI FS:
UPDATE!
I just paid 337 dollars to register it on Friday!

6 Speed Manual trans Package 0 to save weight with no sunroof
United Gray in color and comes with 2.0T motor
Currently has 31,xxx miles, it was bought as a Certified Pre loved VW with 17,xxx miles Nov 2009
Car is under warranty from VW until 74,000 miles or until Nov of 2011
5W-30 Castrol oil changes at 20k, 25k, & 30k

Per APR with the stgII tune you are looking at 270HP & 323Ft/lbs (at the crank I am sure). 0-60 I am sure would definitely be below 6 seconds, and the way I drive it I get 26-32 MPG almost all day lol.

No problems with the car what so ever, just selling it because I want a…car is babied because I use it mainly to commute to and from work 9 miles a day.
17,100 dollars is what I owe/left on the loan with VW credit...asking 19,000 but will work with true potential buyers on the price.
You will need to finance the total loan amount (with any provider be it a credit union, VW credit, etc) and pay the remainder in cash to me, or just pay me completely in cash.

Modifications:

“( )” indicates when modification was done

APR stage 2 tune (21K)
Surewin Downpipe (21K)
Revision D Diverter Valve (22K)
Lowered on Raceland coils with welded strengthened end link attachments pictures show the car static with 7 threads remaining up front and rear perches are still in, so it can go lower if wanted. (19K)
17” Enkei j10 (no TPMS) with 70-80% tires (25K new tires and wheels)
Bildon stud/nut conversion with tuner lugs and normal conical nuts to fit OEM wheels (22K)
Boost gauge and steering column pod (21K)
Tint (18K)
PCV & noise pipe blocks (22K)
Upgraded city lights (24K)
DRL fogs
Dogbone insert (22K)
Yellow tinted fogs
Removed GTI emblems and painted VW emblems
Painted side markers
Gorilla Blocks

(I will also give you the stock suspension, stock sidemarkers, GTI emblems, GTI license plate frame, stock PCV, stock noise pipe)

If you have any questions or are interested feel free to contact me via call/text @ 626-404-3593. Not in a rush to sell it at all.

Thanks and have a great day…

-Ryan

bump for a fellow mkv gti driver.

they are a ton of fun and the turbo has full go by 2500 (fun daily)
stock torque hits at 2500 (210ftlbs) all the way through nice and flat.

you cant say no to these cars without driving one!

I don't understand why anyone would buy a GTI with the speed3 being out there.

... nvm I just remembered that the speed3 is hideous.

LOL

shlammed thanks for the bump and the info. It is an awesome car and stg II is nuts, but I want to get back to my miata roots and have a much lower monthly payment.

Thanks for the bump...I actually had a revision C in mine, I am pretty sure all models previous to the 08.5 had a diapharm valve. I pulled mine when I went to stg II but it actually is not torn and I will throw it in with whoever gets the car.

If you didn't buy the car new, they could have maybe replaced it at the dealer or something.

Great looking MKV. For those considering this at all a K04 swap nets you nearly 300 FWHP, uses almost all OEM components and is an absolute blast to drive. I work for APR and can absolutely vouch for the MKV being an excellent DD and race car for that matter.
Just keep an eye on that cam follower.

Buy my '99 when you sell this.
