Default 2003 Shinsen Turbo Street/Track Miata

2003 Mazda Miata Shinsen edition Turbo street/track car

a link to two build threads:
https://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo...s-build-77625/

Shinsen Disco Potato project

93k miles

since I took ownership of the car in December 2014, I've changed the following:

Drivetrain and cooling:

Installed 6 speed I purchased for RSpeed
Installed 3.9 torsen
Added trackspeed oil cooler (and an oil temp gauge)
had car professionally tuned at DBW Motorsports (237rwhp/215rwtq - 9.5psi - Mustang Dyno)

Suspension and Braking

Installed Version 2 Xida coilovers (700/400)
Installed RB hollow front sway bar
Installed 949 racing endlinks
installed Hawk HPS pads
Installed Nickel (i think?) 949 Racing 6UL's - in well tracked condition w/ 225/45/15 BFG Rivals with about 50% life left (comes with a couple spares in varying condition)

Interior/Exterior

Added Harddog M1 softtop roll bar for head clearance (will work with a hardtop)
Installed Touge Run replica front lip

What makes this car unique? Attention to detail. Because of the FM crossflow radiator and Spal fans, it's never run higher than 210, even on a blazing hot day at Road Atlanta. The car has Frog arms, door bars, and has been stitch welded. The softtop has a zip out glass window and is in perfect condition. The detail that went into the turbo build was excellent---this car was not built on a budget. In fact, totaling up the amount spent is alarming, but suffice it to say, well north of 20 grand.

minor issues: ac present, but doesn't work, CC has been deactivated, but all the parts are still present, there are some knicks and dings---the track will do that.

All that said, this is a great car, and you'll be getting a screaming good deal. I have tons of pictures as well as video of the car on track, but you guys have probably already seen it.

-----11,500----- as it is, cheaper with removal of some optional items, though I'd greatly prefer to sell the car as complete.

Free bump, but are those 8 or 9" 6uls? Just curious.

If this is the same one that ran the Music City Mustang Club at AMP last year, its a great car and as advertised.

Pretty solid deal, this. Just needs a built motor.

GLWS, awesome car and good price.

pulled the gv hood, the seat and harness, and the steering wheel and hub. So, the car now has a pair of gray leather seats and a nardi nb2 wheel.

oh, and a new price:

11,500

bring your own wheels, and it's even cheaper.
