2002 NB Turbo Daily Drive/Track $8,500
What's this car all about?
It's been built to be a reliable DD / Track car. Emphasis on reliability. The setup is based on best practices from Flyin' Miata and MiataTurbo.Net. There's been no unusual maintenance required as a result of the turbo or track days.
I've owned the car for 5+ years. Currently a bit over 180,000 miles (had 155,000 when I purchased). Clean CarFax.
Paint is great for its age (other than faded mirrors), track day hood is rattle can rustolium which happens to be a damn good match for stock. It's starting to fade after 3 years but not bad.
2002 Red NB - ~210 rwhp (conservative)
Hardtop
Hard Dog roll bar (clears hard and soft tops)
Turbo is a T25g - no shaft play when installed (performs like a GT2554 and spools very quickly)
Electronic boost control (set to 10.5 psi)
Recirculated blow off valve (very quiet)
Large front mount intercooler
Mishimoto 55mm radiator fully ducted for maximum cooling
Cold air intake (left fog light)
Last compression test (Fall 2014) showed <10psi variance across all 4 .
3" exhaust w/ high flow cat and the largest 3" muffler I could fit. Great tone and not much louder than stock.
MegaSquirt3 built by Reverant on MT.net
Dell 8" tablet PC w/ Tuner Studio for tuning & track day data display
Conservative tune for reliability
Stock computer & injectors included to swap back for emissions
Nickel 6ULs w/ BFG Rivals (1 track day and 250 miles since new)
FM VMax Adjustable Coilovers (Sport) ~20,000 miles on these)
Racing Beat hollow front bar
Torsen LSD
FM Stage 2 Clutch ~ 8,000 miles ago
Hawk HP+ pads
Track day vented hood (more airflow for those boosted summer track days) - Stock hood included.
Driver's seat lowered 2.5" to pass broom stick and make a helmet comfortable with hard top.
All the creature comforts work too. A/C, PS, electric windows, etc.
Like everyone I've got about twice my asking price in the car and could part it for more, but would rather see it live on.
Car is in Roswell Ga.
Some kind of issue with uploading pictures. More to come.

I must be technologilogically deficient on the pictures. Here's the local craigslist ad.
Ignore the price which is bumped to negotiate with CL jokers.

Thank for the kind words guys.
Vlad, your white car (Heavy Pig) was the inspiration for much of my work.
JDMITRSWAPPEd, believe it or not, I'm headed out to Albuquerque to pick up my new ride. I could have towed this one out there for you :-)
Nigelt, love the work you did on straightening your frame. The MT.net community is full of innovative ideas.
