2002 Miata SE Turbo, Titanium Gray, Saddle leather, Low Miles
I've put a lot of time and effort (...and money) into this car and I feel like I'm ready to move on to the next one. I have no complaints about it...and it's very likely that I'd keep it if I had the space. I've spent the last few years modding the car almost exactly like the way I want it. With most, if not all the records in my file. It's a very reliable and good daily...and can be converted to a solid track car. I'm the second owner, purchased it from a man in New Jersey who only road the car in the good months; otherwise it was garage kept. I'll never get my money's worth...but that's how this hobby goes. 60k miles on body and original motor. Almost exclusively garage kept.
Info about the Car:
Interior-
-Clean and nearly flawless. Everything works, some light wear on driver side bolster
-Little mods like weighted shift ****, plated footrest on mat, visor delete.
-Heated Seats
-Overhauled sound system, Bose bypass. New speakers, GPS/Multimedia double-din stereo. Hook up iphone, load up movies, music, tv shows. Bluetooth, all that crap.
-Changed the shift boot, and e-brake boot
-Added a cup holder and padded elbow rest
-Style bars
Exterior-
-Clean, no dents, no rust. Minor scratches on front and rear bumpers (city parking). Aero kit is scraped on the underside certain locations. The car sits low, and some ramps are tough to make it up cleanly. One wheel has a chipped finish. It came like that, and I got it discounted.
-15x9 949 Racing 6UL wheels. Nickel finish. Very lightweight. 225 tires all around
-Factory body parts, front lip, side skirts, mudguards, spoiler, eye mask
-Painted to match hardtop with rear window defrost.
Engine/Tranny-
-FM II Turbo Kit.
-FM Happy Meal clutch kit
-FM Lightened flywheel 10.3lbs
-Factory Torsen LSD
-Hydra EMS Standalone, ECU. Too costly. Tuned by a reputable Miata tuner.
-FM 2.5inch turbo back
Chassis/Brakes-
-FM Butterfly Brace
-FM Frame Rails
-FM front and rear sways
-FM Brake upgrade kit
-Rear Cannon Brace
-BC Racing Coilovers, rides stiffer, but better than stock.
-I made my own skidplate from a aluminum street sign. It's ugly but serves it's purpose.
I don't know what does or does not show up on the carfax. But the previous owner told me a golf ball dented his hood and he had to have that fixed. During my ownership. I piece of ice flew off a truck on the highway and smashed the hood again. I had the front panels fixed/replaced and resprayed. I also had them do my rear bumper at the time.
I probably forgot stuff, but that's pretty much it.
I'm looking to get $10k. I'm in the boston area. You can contact me by the following:

Very sharp car and a good value with the hardtop IMHO. You should consider putting it on Bring A Trailer, modified Miatas seem to do pretty well on that site.
GLWS, I have sold a couple F/I Miatas and it can take a while to get a good price. Having a dyno printout with A/F helps to put a buyer's mind at ease.
