1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata 10th Anniversary Edition + Turbo parts
After some difficult decisions, I'm selling my 10th Anniversary '99 MX-5 1.8L 6 speed manual. I purchased the car in 2009 for about 10k and then put over 6k in modifications since then. It runs great and has been very reliable the entire time I've had it. It has passed emissions every time on the first try. Front brake pads, timing belt, water pump, and drive belts were replaced about 2 years ago. The factory soft top was replaced last year after someone cut it so the new top is in good shape (rear glass and defrost works). Rear brake pads and coolant thermostat were also replaced last year. Spark plugs were replaced early 2018 before I moved away for work. The car runs great and I don't really want to sell it, however, I need a vehicle more suitable for traveling.
Over the years, I've done some modifications to it. It has a Flyin' Miata V-Maxx suspension kit, Flyin' Miata anti-sway bars, TRS HID headlights kit from "The Retrofit Source", 2.5" cat back, Fumoto valve, flipped tail lights/blinker bulbs, other cosmetic things here and there. The exhaust is pretty quiet even though it's a 2.5". It also comes with 2 sets of tires (Summer High Performance and all season tires). The Summer Performance tire set has 225/45R15 BFG Rivals mounted on 8" rims for the rear and 205/50R15 (same 8" wide rims) for the front (will also supply 2 extra front tires - was a set of 4 205/50R15). The All Terrain tires are mounted on the stock 10th Anniversary rims (pictured). When I purchased the car in 2009, I installed a BEGI turbo kit with a TrackDog Intercooler with DW800cc injectors and Adaptronic standalone ECU. The car was tuned by Travis (from Adaptronic) and made 180whp with the stock exhaust at the time. The turbo kit ran great, however, was removed last year in preparation to make it more long trip friendly. I will supply those parts with the vehicle.
The bad... The car does have some rust around the rear driver fender. The trunk lid had some rust right above the license plate. That was repaired and painted with POR15 however that little section is painted black. Currently, the trunk lid has a carbon fiber wrap that's getting old. The last problem is when the shop did the exhaust they put the rear o2 sensor too close to the drive shaft which damaged the wiring. The sensor placement was fixed however the wiring needs to be repaired better.
Heres a list of the major parts on/with the vehicle.
BEGI Turbo Kit+TrackDog IC, Adaptronic+Injectors, Flyin' Miata Anti-Sway bars, V-Maxx suspension, Performance summer Tires/rims, Full 2.5" exhaust, TRS Headlights kit.
I'm selling the vehicle with all the parts I have for it and both sets of tires for $6000 OBO.
