The fun part for me is learning and putting it together, now I want to get a Jeep Wrangler to do an off road build. If I don't sell the miata no big deal, still loads more i can do to it.

Nope, good eye. Back story - when I bought the car the previous owner had kissed the back end of a truck denting the hood and front bumper cover. He just left it that way as it was just cosmetic damage.
After I got it I sourced a new hood, put it on and through that it was kind of cool that the front bumper was pushed down a bit. I had plans on making the opening a little more symmetrical and installing a mesh type grille there, just never got to it. The additional airflow goes right to my arcleaner... Some what of a DIY scoop. If finished properly in my opinion would look aggressive and quite nice.

have you dyno'd it recently? what is its HP and WHP?

Never been on dyno & I don't want to guess at the HP/WHP becuase I'll be wrong
