Selling my 1999 base model Miata.
The good: It's bone stock with one exception. I ditched the original 14" steel wheels in favor of a set of '97 Miata STO wheels. The tires are nearly new (bought Nov '08 and driven very little since). The interior is complete and in very nice condition. It has one of the strongest 1999/2000 engines I've driven. This car was bought new by my brother in 1998 and has either been in his or my hands it's entire life. He replaced the cat and a number of sensors after a CEL in early 2008. The radiator was replaced spring 2009. I cleaned the intake manifold and replaced the PCV in fall 2009. The coils were replaced Feb 2010.
The bad: This car spent most of it's life in Palo Alto and San Francisco and has minor bumper and fender dents from street parking. The clearcoat on the hood is fading. The soft-top has the typical NB rip at the corner behind and above the side window.
The major service (timing belt, tensioner, waterpump) were done around 100K miles. The coolant was changed with the radiator. I don't know the last time the pads were changed, but the rears will need to be changed soon as the wear shims have started squeeking. The car has never been in an accident. There are some waves and scratches that came from street parking it in San Francisco, but nothing bad or anything that would require a repaint.
This car is an ideal candidate for the new SCCA STR Solo class as it's the lightest NB model made, even lighter than the ClubSport.
It's currently stored at my girlfriend's shop in San Marcos, Texas south of Austin.

She's got a 3000 square foot metal building on 14 acres outside of San Marcos, just south of Austin.
That's where she stores all our derelict Subarus, Miatas, and other interesting junk we drag home.
You do know that my girlfriend road races the 2004 AMA winning Graves-built R1, and built and raced her own Honda XR600R motard conversion at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb in 2009. I convinced her to try Land Speed Racing, and she has hit 200mph on a stock+nitrous 'Busa at the Texas Mile and holds a SCTA record on a vintage Triumph she ran at Bonneville. She was also invited to drive a blown-Busa powered Lakester at the salt and expected to go right at 235mph in it, but an ignition failure killed our chances. She's been racing dwarf circle track cars the last couple weeks. And is preparing an Open Light rally car very similar to the one I'm building. She's also won a Solo National Championship, and a couple of 2nd places at Nationals in the Open (not Ladies) class.
She's a bad-***.
