1999 Mazda Miata - $10,000
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1999 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - New Jersey.
Engine Size: 1.8
Asking price is $10,000
Forsale is a friends Turbo NB. This isn't your regular Turbo'd Miata where a kit is just slapped on over night. This set up was strategically built over the course of 2+ years with nothing but quality parts and top notch labor.
Price: $10,000
YouTube of the Dyno session during 12-15psi of boost. If the video doesn't work, search "FuelTech Miata". The video still has some older parts on the car and have been updated since then. The car is tuned to 32psi.
Fully built 1999 Miata BP 1.8 (600 wheel horsepower capable)
ARP studs everywhere
Builder - BMS racing in PA.
Rust free
Never tracked
Well over $20,000 invested in this project so far. I only had paint and rear differential left to complete.
----------------
Head: Supertech valve springs, mazdaspeed intake cam, black painted valve cover, welded AN bungs for catch can
Block: eagle rods, JE forged pistons, 9:1, Super damper on crank, custom 60-2 crank trigger wheel for super damper.
Intake:
Custom fabricated over-sized aluminum intake, mustang 75mm Accufab throttle body
Exhaust:
3" down pipe to 2.5" exhaust (did not complete full system yet). system still flows fantastic with the Racing Beat exhaust.
Turbo:
Black ceramic coated BEGi S-6 exhaust manifold, Precision Turbo 5858 Full V-Banded, Tial 38 mm wastegate (Open Dump), N75 valve (controls Tial boost through FT400),
Fuel:
DW 320 Fuel pump
Injector Dynamics 1000's
All new AN/Braided black feed and return lines, plus all other lines are done with AN.
Cooling:
Mishimoto radiator, slip fans/shroud, 949Racing billet coolant re-route
Accessories:
Hard Dog 4 point Roll cage (SCCA compliant)
All black AN fittings and black braided lines (the most expensive ones)
S-Max products - Intercooler, Catch can, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, and Vaccuum block
Turbosmart Race 50mm blow off valve
Boundary Engineering race oil pump shimmed to increase pressure, Gates Timing belt, new alternator, and new starter
Custom Miata seats with BMW leather and lowered driver side
Competition stage 3 clutch and 9lb flywheel
Engine management:
FuelTech FT400 touch screen stand alone computer
Suspension:
Flyin Miata sway bars, Tokico springs/shocks, adjustable end links.
Probably missing something but PM if you have any questions.

Drock,
I was interested in picking up a turbo miata (currently own a genesis coupe) and was referred to this forum to check things out. What kind of power output does yours currently have and how is it tuned? How linear is it, is there much turbo lag?
Basically I'm looking for something smaller and lighter than my GC
since I'm a forum member with zero posts, I post over at Anandtech Forums (computer hardware site; same handle as here) and have ebay/heatware under Fenixgoon.
I'm temporarily in CA but live in MD. Will be back in MD in 3 weeks.
