Up for sale is my 1999 Mazda Miata. It has 121,000 miles, a 5spd transmission, cold AC and very clean inside and out. Good tires and alignment. This has been my daily driver for almost a year and has never let me down. Very reliable car. I've upgraded a few things and done some general maintenance but other than that, this thing is pretty much all stock. The leather seats show a little wear but I could deal with it so I'm sure you can too. I've kept all of the factory parts I removed while upgrading and those will be included in the sale. It's been a very fun car to drive but it's time for me to part ways with it and pass it on to someone else who will appreciate it like I have. Asking $6500 OBO and I'll entertain any serious offer.
Here is a list of everything I've done since owning it.
First off I installed Megan Racing EZ Street Coilovers. They come with 16 levels of dampening adjustment and a wide range of height adjustment. They go much lower than what I have them set at, but I wanted retain most of the good suspension geometry while giving it a more aggresive stance. I've owned many different sets of coilovers on multiple vehicles and these coils ride and perform great for street and occasional track use.
I also installed a cold air intake which gave the engine an awesome tone under revs as well as a little added throttle response. Comes with a RAZO rally style ultra-lightweight shift **** and the car will also come with a 350mm deep offset no-name steering wheel (removed for inspection, currently uses the factory Nardi Torino wheel). Also added a Hard Dog bolt-in roll bar for chassis stiffening and safety. I sandblasted and painted the valve cover with Mazda crinkle finish red and also installed a new valve cover gasket.
Engine oil and filter have been replaced every 3k and often less with Mobil 1. Recently changed the transmission fluid and refilled with Pennzoil Syncromesh (awesome stuff, made a big difference in ease of shifting). Also replaced the differential fluid with Mobil 1 gear oil.
Other parts include..
All new cooling system parts:
Aftermarket thick core aluminum radiator
160 degree thermostat
All new radiator and heater hoses
Fresh coolant with Redline Water Wetter added
Brand new clutch system parts:
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch slave cylinder
Stainless steel braided Clutch hose
Exedy OE replacement clutch pressure plate and disk
Timken throw-out bearing and pilot bearing
Without further adieu, here are the pics of the car. If you are interested, please call me at 409-692-6563. I'm located in League City (Houston) Texas. Thanks for looking!
Again, asking $6500 OBO. Open to negotiation. Thanks!
