1995 Turbo Mazda Miata - $$4000
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1995 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Texas.
Mileage: 133xxx miles
Engine Size: 1.8L
Asking price is $$4000
Location: San Antonio
I am selling my 95' Miata due to an engine failure. I am not entirely sure what is wrong with the motor. Could be something relatively easy to fix, but I have been wanting to get a bike for a while and had been contemplating on selling the car before the motor issue. Prior to this incident, the car was running strong. I never dynoed this miata, but I had a Miata before that dynoed at 235 whp, and this felt as fast, or faster. Car was tuned by a performance shop that specializes in Miata's.
This car would make a great parts car, or throw in a new motor and you already have a miata with good setup.
Modifications:
Garret GT2871 turbo
BEGI Turbo Exhaust manifold
BEGI Down Pipe
Flyin Miata Dual exhaust
Wilwood Big brake kit (front only)
Spearco Intercooler
550cc Injectors
Hydra Nemesis EMS
Low Pro Headlights
Front air dam
Koyo Radiator (Very large capacity)
Tein Flex Coilovers
FM front sway bar
Strut Tower brace
Hard dog Roll bar
Aftermarket wheels
99 transmission (approx 80k miles)
Just to clarify, this car is NOT running. It may not take much engine work to get it running, or it may need a new motor
This car would be great for pulling parts off for another project miata, or fixing up.
This car has a lot of quality parts on it, which is why I am asking $4,000
The body/paint of the car is in good condition, however is not perfect. The car does have a couple of small door dings( I have pictures of the dings). It also has a small scratch on the front right quarter panel. I have many pictures of the car at request.
Thank you for looking
I am selling for $4,000 firm, but
I am planning on trying to pick up a bike. Will consider doing an up-trade for a Gsxr/CBR 600.

As far as what is wrong with it, I am not entirely sure.
There is a coolant leak coming out of the area where the under drive pulley meets the block. So it looks like it is coming out of the block itself. Maybe a bad gasket? I honestly have no idea what would cause the car to have this kind of issue.
I don't have the time, or the tools at the moment to even attempt to crack open the motor.
I know there are a lot of very mech. savvy people on this forum, that could probably diagnose the car quickly if they saw it.
I actually posted pictures with the OP, but for some reason they did not show up. I am going to try and upload some again.

Also I forgot to mention, the seats are leather and have some tears in the normal spots.
Car also has BEGI coolant re-route. Car was always good on cooling.
This car currently does not have A/C. It originally came with A/C, and does have the hook-ups. Needs an A/C compressor.
Soft top is in great condition. Has rear glass window, which is compatible with the roll bar.
Can't think of much else, if you have any questions, please let me know.
Overall the car is a pretty good package and is a well rounded car.
I am limited to my camera phone, so I apologize about the lower quality.

If this car isn't sold by Octoberish, I am highly considering parting it out.
These are some of the main parts I would be selling. Though of course I would be selling everything. These are just some of the goodies I can think of off the top of my head, that would probably be in more demand.
Flex coilovers
FM front sway bar
Front strut bar
Hard dog roll bar
Might try and sell turbo kit as a whole, or just sell the
GT2871 turbo
BEGI Downpipe
Hydra ECU
Spearco intercooler
Koyo radiator 55mm
Torsen LSD
Aftermarket wheels
FM dual exhaust
Front air dam

I am highly considering parting out this car now, depending on how many people are interested in particular parts.

Aftermarket wheels LOTS of tread left on the falken ZE512's
FM dual exhaust
99 tranny 5-speed approx. 70k miles
If you are interested in some of the parts let me know, because depending on how many people are really interested in the parts, will determine if I will part it out.

Any interest in a 2000 Ducati Monster 750? Slow (compared to the Nippon I4's) but it's got that great Italian rumble. :-)

Anyway, at least you got a free bump.
