1995 Mazda Miata LS6 V8 Track Car - $26000
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1995 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - California.
Engine Size: ls6 5.7l
Asking price is $26000
1995 Miata. Located in Sunnyvale, CA. I'd prefer a local sale, but feel free to contact me if you are willing to wait for the money to clear and deal with shipping a track car (no side windows, no locks, push button start).
Extras
This is my HPDE/toy car. Built to be fun and not necessarily fit into any particular racing class. I did not do the original engine swap, but have
removed and installed pretty much everything on the car including the engine, transmission, and differential. It's seen about 10 track days on the
new crate motor. All at Laguna Seca. It did a 1:38 there with 370 whp and I would call myself an intermediate driver so there's plenty of time left on the table. Selling because I need to take a long break from the track and car projects.

Low 2200s with half a tank and a lighter muffler if I remember right. Someone else asked recently so I'll put it back on the scales this weekend and get an exact number. There's been some changes since I last weighed it.

if you're at 2200 then i need to know where i'm hiding the 200lbs.

Open your wallet. That's where my 200 lbs was hiding. Some examples:
- 4 lbs CF top (not including rear lexan)
- hoosiers (4-5 lbs each? under nt01)
- exhaust (aluminum muffler if you're crazy, but I'm going to weigh with the SS muffler)
- oem wiring
- useless metal around the package shelf area
- 5 lbs battery
- aluminum driveshaft
- light flywheel/clutch combo
- no passenger seat/belt
- exhaust headers vs cast manifold
- 949 lexan windshield
- door skins
- no rubber seals
- manual mirrors
- zero components from the oem dash
I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out since that's just off the top of my head.

Are the headers for an f-body? Did they have to be modified? If so, who did the work? Any pics of how they fit?
V8R swap oil pan? Any oil pressure issues?
V8R rear end kit? Can you sneak exhaust past the 8.8", or is it out of the question? How loud is it? Like, hearing protection just to fire it up?

V8R aluminum pan. Oil pressure is good.
V8R rear end kit welded by someone who knows how to weld. 3" exhaust goes around the 8.8 on the driver's side. Not tons of clearance, but it isn't banging against the diff or the subframe on the track.
Definitely not hearing protection loud. I had it under 92db at Laguna Seca with a cam, cats, big magnaflow muffler, and shorty headers. No idea what it is now, but it had no problem staying under 102db at the track. Going back to the stock cam (included) would quiet it down. Cats help, too.

got any pics of the 3" exhaust around the diff?
