Information a buyer needs to know:
- Car should be dyno-tuned. The Hydra does a damn good job of getting it mostly there, but a dyno tune will get it the rest of the way.
- The exhaust does not fit perfectly, the person who sold me the dual setup said it was on a 1.8L car, but Jason @ Enthuza was pretty sure it was a 1.6L setup. He modified it to fit, but it occasionally taps the rear tow hook mount and vibrates, usually only on hard 1st gear launches.
- Flares need attention, be it remolding to the body or sourcing new flares.
- The upper right latch on the hardtop has a broken screw, so the latch is loose. Looks like someone messed with it before and caused that. As far as the hardtop goes, it needs paint and a little fiberglass work/filling. Previous owner said it slid over onto some gravel once upon a time. I bought it simply for rainy/cold days.
That's about it, other than that it runs and drives perfectly with no leaks or issues. The engine has Rotella 5w50 synthetic (changed religiously at 3000 miles), transmission has Redline MT-90 in it, and the differential has Kaaz gear oil.
Full documentation and a ton of pictures can be found on my CarDomain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2562850 (I know people here hate CarDomain, but it's an easier way to have a car journal of sorts.)
I'd rather see someone else enjoy it as much as I have rather than part it out. The asking price is $12,000 as-is. Title is clear and the car is located just south of Atlanta, GA. I'm more than happy to answer any questions anyone has.

Student loan and debt payoff. It's under control, but I'd rather it gone so I can buy a house soon and all that good stuff. I'll be looking at starting another Miata project at some point down the road.
That's the next step, this is just to offer the whole car at what I think is a pretty fair price. I'd rather someone enjoy it as is than scatter the parts off.
I know... Don't want to do it, but need to.
Thank You! Lots of time, thought, and effort went into building it to where it's at.
Thank you for posting those. Was busy at work and didn't get a chance to add them as I wanted to. Just a copy and paste of the ad.

lol The Egg. That's my parts hauler and now my temporary daily. It's transported quite a few different engines (4-cyl.-V8s), transmissions, etc. Still nice and clean overall and just turned 253k miles. Only issues it's ever had was a valve body going bad making it shift harder and at 251k the OEM radiator broke. I plan on using it until the wheels fall off.
