1994 turbo Miata up for sale. I have owned the car for seven years. It was purchased in Arizona; a C-package car with hardtop. My goal was a street car I could take to the track, not a track car that could be driven on the street. I believe it to be a very proper build, adhering to many of the principles voiced on this forum.

$22.5k OR BEST OFFER - this will ruffle feathers but I don't believe you can build it for cheaper. I am willing to adjust the included parts and negotiate.
No offer is a bad offer, all I can say is no thanks.
For those wishing to purchase a full setup – I have a 14’ trailer that can be included or sold separately - $5k
Why am I selling? Unexpectedly bought a new car - not enough garage space for both.
Lovely car. Shooting for the moon on price but it looks extremely clean and well done.
Do I see that it's missing a reroute?
Correct. Don't really feel like arguing the merits, which I do believe exist. We just haven't seen it as needed, frankly. The tune is purposely conservative and coolant and oil temps have been stable and consistently good.
Interesting choice given the clear no-expense-spared parts selection for the rest of the build, but it's easy for a prospective buyer to add so not really that big of a deal.
really a beautiful car/build. I hope you get your asking price or close to it.
I'm guessing with the smog reference you are in CA? Very nice car and good luck!
Yea - that was also why the build may seem mild to some. That said, I have a small box of goodies that gets you on the right side of CARB. 1-2 hours to make the smog gods happy. Fact of life for us in CA.
Dang - cant believe I am just seeing this now - having seen this car a few times at cars and coffee (before the haltech) in the area I am surprised to see it for sale....looks even better in person...
I should just sell my car and buy yours but its far to nice to track as much as I do....in the mean time I PM'ed you on the wheels/tires....

Appreciate the love. It's hard to convey how much has gone into the car and the condition. Those who know, know.
Describe this partial partout. With gas prices the way they're at, and recession incoming the $22k is a tough pill to swallow for a fun toy car
Pretty simple - I take parts off the car, you pay less for the car. As long as inflation is going strong - building a car like this piece by piece only becomes more expensive. If you can't afford gas, you probably can't afford a "toy". YMMV.
Assuming people want to build it the way you've made it - which seems to be the key piece people miss when selling cars that are "built". On a side note, it's interesting that your response to a legitimate contraction of market paired with your pricing is to claim that buyers can't afford your car. I could buy your vehicle multiple times over, but at the end of the day, a miata is not inelastic, it's a 30 year old bargain sports car, and if gas is $5, then it matters and impacts the market. If you're selling a BMW E9, not so much. Wish you best of luck on the sale and enjoy the free bump.
Thanks...appreciate the bump. My apologies if I appeared to suggest Miata's are inelastic. They absolutely are not. The recent increase in the cost of a clean, used Miata has created a stir - some believe Miata should still be dirt cheap today...but the market has appreciated slightly (enough for Hagerty to notice). I mean - look at how people respond to hardtop prices. Yikes! So again, you're right, no E9 - but not what we used to pay for them either. With the cost of everything going up (I just sold wheels that were 25% cheaper than when I bought them), this will be more and more of a bargain car. Other than that, your comment about built cars is spot on - I will likely need the right buyer that sees value in the car and the work done.
