1994 Mazda Miata - $2000
Category: Domestic
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1994 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Nevada.
Mileage: 97xxx miles
VIN: JM1NA3535R0501535
Engine Size: 1.8l
Asking price is $2000
I decided to post my slushbox on here just in case some crazy person has some crazy idea for something, well... crazy... or just have a stock DD.
The good:
-Brand new OBX 4-2-1 exhaust performance header w/ "custom" 2.5" cat-back free-flow exhaust
-Brand new Zexius tires on curb scuffed American Racing alloy wheels.
-exhaust-intake miata cam swap
-solid core spark plug wires
-always used NGK v-power spark plugs, and royal purple oil
-comes with hardtop if sells for 2k
-custom CAI
-NOT DRIVEN HARD
-A/C
-P/S
-CD player
-regular fluid changes and new timing belt @ 95k miles
-CLEAR TITLE, NO ACCIDENTS
-recently re-smogged and registered, (Nevada)
-Runs good, no noises or leaks.
-hard top and soft top in great condition
The bad:
-Transmission is coming in need of a rebuild, drives fine but the first gear is starting to slip and shudder.
-Front driver side fender is damaged, due to a hit-and-run a**hole in a parking lot, and I have terrible bondo skills.
I have pictures on request of what it looked before hand and what I did to make it somewhat look better.
- normal door dings from negligent people
- driver seat has normal wear and tear in the vinyl seat.
-Rear bumper has a small crack at the bottom due to the previous owner backing onto a curb while parking, not serious.
-Cut out in the rear bumper for turbo exhaust, originally for a duel-exhaust setup... never happened.
-Front bumper clear coat is starting to fade.
-Burns a little oil and smokes now and then, until it warms up
The Neutral:
-Stickers, decals, and turbo emblem will be removed.
-Replaced headgasket
- black/tan interior
-has LED "police lights". Dont ask, but it makes for great pranking of ricers. Easily removed.
-I idiotically had a wing on it, I removed it but the trunk lid does have small bolt wholes.
-I will let the buyer decide about the rally stripes, the UV layer in the vinyl has faded so its starting to discolor.
The story:
This car was my baby, had it forever and took good care of it, unfortunately it was my only car and I cannot control others or nature where ever I parked. I would fix her up back to great condition, but im tired.
The car was turbocharged, until recently the headgasket gave way after a solid 6 years of a healthy 7-11psi of boost, since then it has been parked under an overhang. So I de-powered the car and turned it back into being naturally aspirated after replacing the headgasket.
The transmission just started showing signs of normal wear, after the last long trip from Travis AFB for an annual tour, but still drives smoothly in higher gears, and passing gear, just the first gear is starting to shudder and slip.
The car was managed by a tuned Megasquirt ECU @ a very healthy conservative tune, no detonation.
If the car sells less than 2k, the hard top does not go with it!!!
