Default 1994 Mazda MIATA - $$20000

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1994 Mazda MIATA for sale, in USA - Connecticut.

Mileage: 129600 miles
Engine Size: 1.9l

Asking price is $$20000

Selling my car, However im in no rush at the moment. The reason for selling is that im ready for a new project, And i would like something more practical that i can drive more on the street and my wife can enjoy with me.

The car has 129,600 on the original chassis. But only 1000miles on since the rebuild into a race car. It passed CT emissions with NO CAT!!.

Car has been Currently tuned by Morgan at Synapse Motorsport in NY.
Made 462 whp and 330 ft-lbs on C16
395whp and 285 ft-lbs on 93 pump.

Keep in mind its a racecar, the bodywork is not show/oem quality. The kevlar panels are not painted. Its built to be driven. I rear ended a car, that is why the front was tubed and started the whole race car project. Other than that, i tapped a wall while drifting a long time ago. I pulled it out the best i could, from the out side you cant tell.

I have over $30,000 invested into this car and 5 years of time. Im not going to give it away. If i dont get my asking price I will part the car out over the winter . KEY WORD IS "WINTER" NOT NOW,DONT ASK.

I am considering trades for a clean FD3S with LSx SWAP.

Most of you have read my thread and commented on the car over the past 5 years, some have seen it in person.

Here is a link to the build thread, i can provide current pictures to those who are serious.

Sad to see you sell it. I still need a ride before you get rid of it!

All: I have seen this car in person. Amazing fab work, strong build.

Thanks Dave, im in no rush, unless i get a strong offer, or trade. I would still like to hit a few more events with it this year. But i thought i would get the ball rolling and see if i get any interest in the car whole before i part it out over the winter.

Here are some pics i took tonight. The car is a little dirty from me cutting wood with the garage door open. The nitrous box was rigged up so i could get to an event, didnt have the fittings in time so that will be cleaned up. The airbag delete is just aluminum sheet metal, this could be cleaned up with some plastic or a carbon insert.

i wanted to go for FD when i first started the build, But then i got a GF, Then we got engaged, then we bought a house, then we got married, now we have a kid on the way. I stopped thinking about FD about year 3 of my build lol. I took to long and moved on. Now i want another project that is more practical that i can drive on the street more and have fun without breaking the bank. Not to mention i want to be able to apply what i learned in this car into another car. V8 FD3S will be reliable with lots of torque and streetable.
