Default 1993 Toyota MR2 w/ Gen4 3SGTE Swap

I'm not big on introductions, so let's get started:

For Sale: 1993 Toyota MR2 w/ Prime Performance Gen 4 3SGTE Swap

-Originally an N/A SW21
-135,000 miles on body / 2,000 miles on swap (40k-60k on imported engine)
-Black Exterior
-Black Interior w/ cloth seats.
-T-Tops (no noted leaks)
-5-Speed
-Non-LSD S54 transmission
~270whp

Price: $9,000

Location:
Troy, NY 12180

Gen4 Details: *Ignore this section if you’re familiar with the swap.*
The Gen4 3SGTE is, as you may have guessed, the 4th iteration of the Toyota 3SGTE engine, and was available only overseas. It is the factory motor for the 1997-2002 Toyota Caldina, which was a spunky AWD turbocharged wagon. In short, this is a considerably different engine than the original 3SGTE, as it’s much smoother and more responsive.

The Gen4 iteration of the 3SGTE differs from it’s predecessors in many ways:
-STOCK 255hp @ 6200rpm / 240ftlb @ 4400rpm
-9.0 : 1 compression
-Different intake camshaft
-Coil-on-plug ignition (rather than distributer)
-More advanced ECU
-Side-feed intake manifold
-540cc top-feed injectors
-MAP sensor (rather than MAF)
-CT15B turbocharger (faster spooling)
-Turbo hotside and exhaust manifold are integrated
-Larger exhaust ports
-No EGR / TVIS

Ownership History:
This was originally a North Carolina car, and female owned. The second owner lived in the same area, and is the owner who paid for the swap to be done at Prime Performance in early 2016. He sold the car to an older retired man in NJ, and after owning the car for only a few weeks, this man sold it to me, as he had unexpected emergency repairs needed on his home. I purchased the car in October of 2016, and now the car lives in my garage, where it’s washed regularly and driven sparingly.

Swap Info:
Prime Performance of NJ is the leader in MR2-specific service, performance upgrades, and full swaps. Their knowledge of these cars is unparalleled in the industry. In addition to the Gen4 swap, this car received a huge amount of ancillary performance and OEM parts while the swap was being done. The car runs ~15psi right now, and has never seen more boost on my watch. I have the 3-page itemized invoice for all work performed / parts installed, and it totals over $7,000. I will make this invoice available for interested parties.

Body / Interior:
There is no rust on the body, and the rockers are solid. Overall, the paint is in good shape. I just had the hood, headlight covers, and front driver fender repainted in order to fix some minor, but less than aesthetically pleasing imperfections. This is a 25 year old black car, so it still shows some imperfections throughout. The nose has stone chips and could use a refresh. I recently installed brand new OEM belt moldings, and had the t-top gutters refinished in matte black. The rainguard paint below the louvered engine lid is showing some wear. I may remedy this with a freshly painted Turbo (raised vents) engine lid. The interior is very clean, age considered, and has one dime-sized tear in the driver seat upper bolster. The driver side floor mat shows heel wear in one spot. The car is equipped with a nice touchscreen headunit, w/ AUX, USB, DVD, CD, BT, etc.

Additional Items (not on Prime invoice):
-Custom 3” dual exit/single muffler exhaust (Vibrant #10632 muffler)
-Custom 3” downpipe (this is a beautiful piece)
-Enkei VR5 wheels, “double stagger” fitment. (F 16x7 et38 / R 17x8 et35) Brand new
-Yokohama S-Drive tires. (F 205/45/16 R 235/40/17) Less than 500 miles wear.
-OEM staggered wheels w/ newer tires (if buyer prefers stock wheels)
-Speedometer capacitors replaced (restores accuracy)
-Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gear Oil fill
-Castrol 0w-40 oil & OEM filter.
-NGK BKR7E plugs
-OEM “belt moldings”
-Kouki (1994+) taillights and center panel.

Wrap-Up
Questions: I’ve been as forthcoming and honest as one can be when selling a used car, and insist that you read this and carefully review all provided photos / documents in their entirety before contacting me with questions.
Why are you selling?: I currently own multiple cars for various purposes, and would like to downsize to one good do-it-all car.
Offers: Lowball offers will be ignored, and haggle offers should come only after you view the car. Be respectful.
Trades: I’ll consider them, but it’s very, very unlikely that we’ll make a connection.
Contact: Do not call or text me after 9:30pm. I’m old, and it’ll make my girlfriend ask me questions.

Thanks guys. It's a unique, well-built, and very quick little car, but I need to focus on more important things right now, and it just doesn't get used like it should.
Right now I need more of a "quiver killer" type of car.
