1992 Miata HPDE/Track Day Car
Yeah I know, not a turbo but still an assume track car.
This is a dedicated track car, it is registered and can be test driven on the street.
The engine:
BP4W, Jim Stewart Head Shaved .055in. about 11:1 compression.
BP5A intake cam and adjustable cam sprockets, square top intake manifold, Skunk2 throttle body. Race Beat header and exhaust, header is Swain Coated. Exhaust has a heat shield where it passes by the transmission. Flex pipe added to exhaust to protect header.
MS2 Megasquirt engine management, dyno tuned at 161HP at 7200rpm. AEM wideband gauge.
Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator.
6-speed transmission with a CAE shifter. ACT light forged steel flywheel.
Goodwin 88 durometer engine mounts. Energy Suspension differential mounts.
Power frame stiffener, PPE brace.
Suspension:
Coilovers front and rear. Koni race shock front with 750 lb springs, Koni sports rear with 400lb springs. Flyin’ Miata sway bars front and rear. ISC coilover top hats modified with spherical bearing and DOM spring locators added. The car has been corner balanced.
It has Goodwin Racing Konig 15x9 wheels with 225/45x15 Toyo rr’s, and a set of 7x15 wheels with 205/50x15 full tread Toyo RA1’s tires for wet driving. The fenders have been rolled for clearece.
Stock calipers with stainless steel lines, Wilwood proportioning valve, Hawk Blue pads.
Autopower cage, steering wheel disconnect, hooks on cage for wheel and helmet.
Sparco REV seat, 5-way harness. The seat is for a smaller person. Also have stock seats
Widows get removed for driving on track.
Head lights removed.
This car is ready to take to the track, it needs nothing.
