1992 Mazda Miata - $4000 or b/o
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1992 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - New York.
Mileage: 170000 miles
VIN: JM1NA3517N1318687
Engine Size: 1.6
Asking price is $4000 or b/o
Sunburst Yellow Miata for sale; Has Flying Miata turbo kit (turbo, intercooler, gauges) installed by PO.
Appearance
Package A - a/c, power steering, headrest speakers, etc.
CIBA lights (eu spec, nicer cut off then Hellas)
Lighted rear view mirror
Voodoo **** and collar
Leather shift boot
Metal powdercoated ebrake handle with chrome button
Seat heaters with switches where the power window switches would have gone
Aftermarket speakers (Infinity IIRC in front, and baby RF's in headrest)
Simple Alpine CD HU
Momo steering wheel
Double hoop style roll bar
2002 glass top (glass,folds)
Simple door sill covers
2002 SE floor mats
Rota Circuit 8 15x6 wheels in silver,
Mechanical
1.8L brake upgrade all around (Speed bleeders installed)
FM2 turbo (Garrett)
Updated FMII intercooler and SI pipes.
Updated FM Downpipe
FMII single tip exhaust
DSM 450cc injectors (not the RC 440's in the FMII kit)
Link MK2 ECU with keypad and serial link adapter/cable
Koni yellows
STB (not FM, forget which brand)
FM frame rail supports
FM butter fly brace
5 Speed
Lightened flywheel
93-97 open diff
Bosal Cat-Back Exhaust
Good: heated seats, top is in excellent shape
Bad: a few dings, minor rocker rust, some oil drip on driveway, uses premium gas too quickly, a/c not working, some gauges not connected, engine needs work.
I love the car, but it recently developed some engine problems. It starts fine, but 30 seconds later it, it stumbles and struggles to get past 3000 rpm. Running rich. It was running fine until a shop changed my front suspension; hope it was a simple wiring issue. Car is not being driven any more until problem can be fixed.
Price is negotiable; would make a good project for someone with knowledge of LINK ECU.
Thanks for looking!

The LINK master fuel setting was tampered with by a highly rated Yelp "perfomance" shop in College Point. It took me three weeks and a lot of money to figure out what happened. In the end, Flying Miata came through with a new MAP config file, and it's running better than before.
Other changes: New NGK BKR7E plugs, Bosch 17018 O2 sensor for AEM Wideband, OEM NB spring/strut setup with new bump stops. Today my suspension change is complete with a four wheel alignment to FM specs. It feels like a new car...
