I'm not going anywhere - I just have to get rid of the car. I only drive it 500 miles a year and all work stopped on it some time ago. Thanks for the kind words. The website/forum will stay online.

You have done some cool **** over the past bunch of years, and the weight savings guide is an awesome resource, but don't you think this an even greater act of stupidity then the gay teeth?

I have a feeling that you will look back upon this, however many years down the line, and be like WTF did I do?

Nope, you didn't get it straight. In fact, you completely missed the picture <G>. I am not a racer so Beast was never built to be a race car. It was built as a project to keep me busy and as an experiment. I was able to create a lightning fast car while spending little to no money. After 5 years I am ready for another project. The MPG project is not designed to save money, it is designed to spend money - just like any good project is. Hopefully I will be able to prove that with a minimum of expense I can double the MPG of a Miata. Wouldn't be interesting to see me get 50 MPG out of the car? I doubt I can do it but I will try. I will continue on with the MPG project for another 4 years and 8 months (when I turn 45) then I will start my next project. Most probably an LS1 Miata.

I'm regretting the sale now, not 5 years from now, but I know that I will not drive/work on Beast any longer so it is just taking up space. Right now the car is sitting outside under a car cover. For the past year it has sat on my lift and has only moved a few times. A complete waste of a really nice car.

I'm sure you have a logical reason, but why does the MPG project include adding a small turbo?

I have not researched it much, but many say this will raise your MPGs.
