Default 1991 Turbo Miata. Just Professionally Painted!

I am selling my unfinished 1991 Mazda Miata. It just came out of the body shop, after a whole car respray. Flawless Miata Red. The paint CAME OUT PERFECT. Interior is in fantastic condition as is the body. NO RUST. New TOP. The engine is rebuilt with WISCO pistons. New transmission. New clutch. 1.8 Injectors. Brake upgrade. Aluminum Radiator. Large intercooler. Greddy Kit turbo. Lots of intercooler piping. Racing steering wheel. Voodoo ECU Management. Bipes ACU for timing control and engine retardation. And a $500 Flying Miata Dual Exhaust. The car is nearly finished, but I am sort in over my head on this whole project, and am willing to take a loss just to get most of my money back.

What needs to be done?

Finish intercooler piping.
Finish exhaust piping.
Get it tuned.

That's it. I drove the car without the tuning and it felt great, transmission feels fantastic, engine runs better then new. It just wasn't getting full boost. I had the car painted and haven't finished it since.

Take advantage of the oppurtunity, just the paint job on this car was close to $2,000! Exhaust is $500, Intercooler is $250, Turbo Kit/Manifold is $700, this car is a STEAL at $4,900, I am just looking for a quick sale. I can set up appointments this whole week, car is located in downtown Palatine.

Call Leo @ 224-715-3486

I can provide a clean carfax, clean title, and I currently don't have pictures, so please come to see the car. I'll try to get pics up asap.

Make offers, Im looking to get 4,900.

Where are you located? The Internet is telling me the 224 area code is Illinois -- is that correct?

pics? details on motor? 5 or 6 speed? brakes/diff upgraded to 1.8?

no offense, but it is kind of expensive @ $5k. if you drop the price or you had 1.8L brakes/diff upgrade then i might be interested. and my friend will be passing by chicago soon.

FRESHLY PAINTED CLEAN TITLE CLEAN CARFAX MIATA WITH NEW TOP - 2900?

There are 2 intercoolers, the smaller one I am throwing in for free. I am also throwing in the bigger brake calipers, a second manifold, a second turbo which needs to be rebuilt, another seat, pipes, etc etc. Alumn. core radiator, tell your friends etc. If you find me a buyer, I will give you the new brakes/rotors. I don't remember the brand, but pads and rotors were around 350.

it isn't selling as a complete car. but it sounds like you have a crapload of parts.......maybe parting it out will get you to your goal faster.......and probably get you more money.

This price honestly feels like it reflects a finished car... not an aborted project.

You really need to part it out... you won't get what you want for a project in process.

lol @ 4900, when will people realize that fresh paint is the same thing as well maintained paint. maybe worth a couple hundred in premium. the amount of money you've sunk into this heap has little to do with how much it's worth.

I laughed for a good 10 minutes when reading this thread. Honestly, no offense but this thing is not worth any more than 2k IMHO. Built engine? specifics. New trans? as in brand new or what? also all that and then you run voodoo/bipes on it? wtf?

Good luck man, you're going to need it.

I will be interested (not for 4900) when I get home this winter, but sounds like you need to sell now.. but if it's still around then I will PM you (I live in Schaumburg).

I sure hope whoever built the motor put some forged rods in there. Those stockers are gonna bend when taking advantage of the low comp pistons (if they are indeed low comp). You should buck up and finish the car and sell it for 5500
