1990/2000 Supercharged
After 17 years of building I am reluctantly selling. Started with a 2000 and moved everything to a 1990 body due to some emissions issues. Completed forged internal rebuild in 2012. Engine has maybe 90k miles (15k since rebuild). Started with the BRP MP 62 SC kit it 2007 with 4-rib belt and smaller throttle body (pulled 191 HP 164 torque). After rebuild: Converted to 6-rib 150 mm crank and 62 mm nose (spins the SC at 17K rpm), 72 mm TB, intercooled, RC 650 injectors, High flow fuel pump, lightened fly wheel, mid level HD clutch (not the racing one), Mishimoto radiator, bigger brake kit front and back, frame rails butterfly brace, roll bar, bigger sway bars/end links, poly bushings all around, stiffer motor mounts, Goodwin racing bigger exhaust and header. Replaced the soft top with a high grade cloth top (not the crappy Robins one), Also have matching hard top (not pictured). PS was depowered due to belt conflict with 6-rib setup and AC removed. The drivetrain is from the 2000 LS including 6-speed and differential (unfortunately its a 4.3). Suspension is gen 2 Xida (750/450). Engine management is AEM EMS4. It was tuned when I had the 4 rib, but not since. Typical for an intercooled miata it does hunt for idle when stopped but otherwise no issues. Comes with two sets of track tires (Toyo Proxes shaved and Nitto 01 on CR motorsports wheels 15x7 30 offset), and racing seat. I'm sure I am forgetting something. For a 1990 body with 208k on it it's in very good shape, no rust but the paint is probably an 8 out of 10. I have 90% of the receipts and maintenance records back to 2007 if you care. I'm starting at $13,500 but will consider a reasonable offer knowing the parts are worth more than the whole not including my hours of knuckle busting.
