1985 Lincoln TC - $2000
Category: Domestic
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1985 Lincoln TC for sale, in USA - Virginia.
Mileage: 60000 miles
VIN: ????
Engine Size: 5.0
Asking price is $2000
I’m selling my 1985 Lincoln Limousine. I bought it in NJ in December 2011 and it had been sitting for a decade. It is a low mileage (60K) privately owned Limo. Towed it home and prepared it for the 2012 BABE Rally. www.BABERally.com The BABE is a road rally from NY to New Orleans for junk cars. With us leaving from Va Beach VA it proved to be a 3,100 mile journey. The rally required a theme so we had made our Limo into a wagon by adding a truck cap to the back (since been removed) and theme it as five different wagons. Cars run and drives flawlessly, more on that later. Got best of 18 MPG on highway!
CURRENT VA INSPECTION till 3/13
Started out when we bought it as a Limo:
It does fit on a car trailer:
Entire brake system was replaced with new.
Cooling system was cleaned and flushed and new t-stat, water pump and fan clutch and all hoses:
Interior was striped and fumigated:
New seats (1985 MR2) installed:
Replaced all charging system wiring and installed 1997 Taurus alternator:
Replaced timing chain and factory plastic cam gear:
Installed heat extractors:
New valve cover gaskets:
Car got 1st new paint job:
Added excellent wood paneling, for woody wagon theme:
Took it to Cars n Coffee:
2nd theme was Griswold’s Vacation trickster:
Than painted for 3rd theme, ECTO-1 from Ghostbusters:
Fourth theme change was a Hearse:
And fifth theme change was the Presidential Limo:
Car now home looks a little worse for wear after the 3,000 miles:
Parts replaced with new in the last 3 month:
Both low beam headlights
Radiator flushed and cleaned
Fan clutch
Water pump
Timing chain
Cam sprocket
All gaskets
All new hoses and belts
New (to me) AC compressor, AC works great in front and ok in back
New wires
Plugs
Cap
Rotor
Alternator from 1997 Taurus 140amp 3G
Synthetic oil
Battery
Fuel filter
Some fuel lines
Wheel beating repacked
Rear end fluid
Tran fluid flushed
AOD transmissions rebuild done 5K ago
All power windows now work
Cruise control works
3 of 4 power locks work
New carpet.
NEW air shocks
Fuel pump
ALL NEW BRAKE SYSTEM, calipers, pads, shoes, wheel cyc, lines, MC and parking brakes cables.
Don’t know what this car is worth but if you want a fun reliable giant car this is your car.
Will consider all offers.
