[Reduced] 1994 TURBO AEM Mazda Miata done right- $5500 OBO

Pretty good. The guy I bought it from beat on it. Needs a new driveshaft soon. And it's seeping oil from somewhere by the pump. I put a hardtop on it and it's slammed to the ground. The rust has gotten worse but I'll have replacement quarter panels on it before winter. It's at 10psi now and still pulls hard. Runs and drives fine just needs some tlc. And I need to replace the injectors. You put all good *** parts on it then bought venom injectors lol...I'm putting some rx7 550cc injectors on it soon and getting it retuned. It's in good hands now though. The past two owners were not miata enthuasists at all. The previous owner told me I would find you on these forums though, glad I did I may need your help here soon. I really want to get these leaks straightened out before I start dumping more money into performance parts. I just snapped some pics of it last night ( hardtop wasn't on) I'll post em for ya in a sec.

Jesse Prather Motorsports is a local miata mechanic, he hooks me up for advertising on the car. Gave me free balljoints that I still haven't put on yet lol. Like I said main focus is doing maintence stuff first, but I have plans for it trust me. It'll be looking sick here within a few months. I really would like to get more info about the car from you too. Message me your number?

Just the fact that I even came across this thread. Its years old and the car has been through a few different owners. I was trying for the past few weeks to locate the builder of this car using carfax/facebook/random papers I found in the car. Then finally someone told me to look up lazzer408 on here and BAM. It's back in the community now though. The last few owners have neglected/beat on this car.

That's a shame. From what I know, I sold it to a guy out of Chicago who sold it to someone in Kansas. He tracked me down as well. When I sold it to the Chicago guy, the only thing left to do was the quarters and some nice shocks.
I still have all my build pics from WAY back.
I got your message but I was super swamped today. I'll try to get back to you tomorrow around noon. If you don't hear from me shoot me another call.

Sorry to hear that this car has seen better days. Actually, I contacted Lazzer back when he had the car advertised on Craigslist... must have been spring of 2010. The description of the car was spectacular, but at the time I was overcome by fright of a novice's ignorance of all things turbo. Eventually I bought an n/a Miata, which has been my daily driver for these two years. I've driven a locally-owned turbo car, with the baseline Begi kit. It is reasonably well, built, but unimpressive for acceleration. So perhaps this is fate's offering of a second chance?
