[Reduced] 1994 TURBO AEM Mazda Miata done right- $5500 OBO
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1994 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Illinois.
Mileage: 162,000 miles
Engine Size: 1.8L
Asking price is $6250 OBO
Price reduced. I need this car sold ASAP. I have to make room for another car.
It has the following.
T3/T4 Garret turbo
Tubular manifold
Tial 38mm external wastegate (EBC via. AEM)
Mitsubishi EVO FMIC (24x12x3" aluminum)
Welded aluminum IC piping
Synchronic BOV (very clean sound)
TRUE cold-air intake (from cowl chamber)
Custom aluminum heat shield
Custom aluminum radiator air dam
AEM EMS stand alone engine management (configured for boost-comp mapping)
2-step configurable rev limit switch on dash (for full boost launches)
MPH-based electronic boost control. (keeps tires from spinning)
NTK digital wide-band. (dash mounted and wired to the AEM)
GM knock sensor installed (not mapped)
IAT sensor installed (partially mapped)
Venom 550cc injectors (configured sequential)
Toyota COP coil conversion (configured sequential)
Aeromotive 1:1 fuel regulator/braided lines/AN fittings to rail
2.5" exhaust
Torsen rear end
Newer radiator, newer brakes.
Twin electric fans. (electronically controlled by AEM)
Whats wrong with the car...
The engine has a tap-tap-tap but has been making that sound for 3 years now (piston slap). It almost goes away once the engine is warmed up. It's not a main bearing or 15psi would have tore that up in a week. The rockers need tlc from plugged drains. They are starting to rust.
The passangers side door skin has been recovered in blue vinyl. The drivers side skin had the top part loose so I didn't bother doing that side. I was going to replace it first. I'll give you the vinyl I have to finish it. There's a few scratches here and there. See pics.
This car should be making around 300hp with the mods but I never dyno'd it. On the streets it whomps 2000 something 350z.
The car is shown in the pic with Drag DR10 17" rims (sold seperatly)

That's the thing. It's a custom build so it's not worth what it's worth. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay to not have to do these mods. I guess I'll start at $7500 and go from there.

I'm interested in the car - please contact me at ol_70@hotmail.com. I would have sent a private message, but the forum software does not allow private messages from members with insufficient post count.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Take off $300 if I keep my wheels.
Just the car with no stereo, stock rims (good tires), without the laptop, and without the spare block, head, and misc parts, I'll take $6000.
I'm about 45 miles north of Chicago (Antioch).

Lots of interest but no green yet.
$6000 for just the car on stock rims. No one? It'll take a $4000+ BEGi system to 'come close' to what I have here. Don't make me part her out. =(
If I had good plates I'd go shoot some vids but I can't risk the tickets.
