Default "wants to learn" build

Hey guys, I just picked up a 2nd miata seeing how I had to sell the first in pieces. I'm back and wanting to learn how to turbo it. I've read braineacks sticky and a few build threads. I'm sure turboing this car connot be that complicated but it is scary. (I don't want it to go kaboom)

I can afford to order a begi of flying miata kit but, I decided that's not what I want. I'd like to do it myself with the help of my mechanics and you guys of course. (I work at aamco).

I picked up the miata for 1500, I've put some racelands, xxr 527 and falken 912s? On it. (Gotta roll the fenders and quarters, its rubbing all over the place).

This is not my only car so I have no problem with some down time. (I have a sweet 335i or at least I think I do. Lol)

Here's the plan, feel free to chime in and ill be asking lots of questions thanks.

-Megasquirt (see I'm reading)
-taco taco manifold
-china 50 trim vband
-diy downpipe
-ebay intercooler with diy piping
-hallman mbc
-diy exhaust
-hope I can get all the lines cuplers and miscalleneous stuff at a discount through work.

Btw, were doing a pressure test next week to make sure it will hold up hahaa. I need a new top but, that's not a priority.

As you can see this will be a budget build but the most importantly I'd like to lean.

I agree with everything except taco taco manifold. Don't forgot to find some injectors like rx7 460cc pnp's.

1 more important thing. Clutch. I suggest the FM Level 1.

Invest in the very best hot-parts that you can...I'd wait for the TSE kit.
