TSE EFR NB2 Build Thread

Woah, woah, woah! Lets not turn this into a high level aerodynamics discussion, because nobody wants that.

So I got myself a few christmas presents.
1. Racing beat 1.125" sway bar with the brace blocks.
2. 949 Racing Endlinks
3. Blackbird Fabworks GT3 roll bar.
I actually went down to SoCal to pick everything up so I got the chance to meet Moti from blackbird and Dan and Sonny from 949 Racing. Super nice people. I could have talked for hours with Sonny about anything miata related. I also got try out the quaife sequential that was in taxi (Not driving just sitting still).
I installed the sway bar and end links today and felt a massive difference in turn in response as well as some reduced body roll. I dint take any pics because its been done 1.3 billion times before.
Roll bar installation will be soon.

So when I was installing the sway bar I had to remove one of the intercooler couplers. And I saw this....
That is more than a spoon full to put it in perspective. The turbo is relatively new so I have a hard time believing it is the seals. It COULD be that the turbo needs a oil restrictor but nobody else has this issue with the efr turbos so I'm shitting my pants right now.

Ah yes. I had my turbo serviced by a Borg Warner master distributor for this issue. It was under warranty. They said the seals were fine but the oil drain was too small and the oil drain fitting protruded too much into the housing requiring the oil to pool up prior to draining. The technician suggested using a flanged fitting that does not thread into the NPT bung.
