Tarmac 88 "Button" GLTC/ST5/TT5
#390
Bronze bearing retrofit done.
Engine should be shipping in the next few days.
I’d like to get a coat of paint on the interior, replace the harness with a yellow Schroth Profi 2x2 and install some Koolmat.
Then it’s on to the brakes. I have a stack of Oem shape G-Loc, but would love to put a red Wilwood Dynapro Gen2 Trackspeed 11.75” Kit in here for the swag. I’m not entirely sure my sprint/tt/HPDE usage will show much benefit, but they’re parts I sell and the penalty is relatively small(.2 p:w).

Welp, the start of the season is suffering nearly 100% cancellations/postponements, moving back to fit my timeline. The state next door(PA) just ordered the shuttering of all non life sustaining businesses. Crazy times.
I received some goodies recently, and played with them like a child.
The logistics of running Superlites in the midwest means running some funky narrow/low offset wheel for rain tires, or bolt on adapters, and I just don't want to deal with either.
8/9/9.5"" wheels clear the Dynapro easily enough with a slip on 5mm in some cases, and I think I still get a whole season out of a single set of front pads.
So I've decided to run an 11.75" Gen2 TSE Wilwood Dynapro kit.
My planned low-car-count and HPDE wheel/tire combo is all here now too. 245/40/15 Toyo RR on 9.5" Freeform.
Tarmac 88's tire machines will be here next week, so there is hope of having the entire roller done by the end of march!
