So I rebuilt my motor after blowing a freeze plug and over heating. I have been slowly been finishing up the car. Earlier in the week I filled the radiator with water so I could pressure test and look for leaks. There was a slight leak, but it appeared to be where the adapter connected to my TSE radiator. So I was not overly worried, no leak at the Q-Max reroute which is what I was worried about. Water level had dropped in the radiator after the test, but I figured it was filling the heater core and such. Topped off water again and put the cap on.
Last night I went to install a new crush washer on the oil drain plug. Pulled the plug and about half a gallon of water came out the oil pan. I assume I fucked up the head gasket, but who knows. I won't be pulling the motor until next week.
Pretty sure I am going to drop the stock VVT motor I have in a shell in my garage for the time being.
