Default SGK Performance - Supercharged NC build

This a build thread for one of our (SGK Performance) track cars. It's 2015 MX-5 Sport with ~45K miles. It is not going to be a groundbreaking build but rather relatively easily to duplicate, fun car that is hopefully fast enough and reliable enough. For now we intend to maintain full interior / smog equipment etc. and see how far can we stretch the performance envelope.

Phase I:
  • Stock Engine with glorious 126.1 WHP as measured on DynaPack chassis dyno
  • Blackbird Fabworx GT3 Roll Bar
  • Ohlins Road & Track DFV
  • Progress Technologies Sway Bars
  • RoadsterSport 6 Piece Complete Underbody Brace Kit
  • Enkei RPF1 17x9 w 245/40R-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R
Car has somewhat aggressive street alignment and weighs in at 2,609 lb With Driver.

Our resident race car driver just beat a Speed SF S5 Class (mostly stock) Laguna Seca record @ 1:46.7 sec.
