Sexyicky's "Little Vader" total creeper
Thought it might be time to start a build thread and stop forum creeping after all these years. Here is a little about myself.
Name: Gabe
Location: Originally from Santa Barbara Ca, then moved to Santa Maria for a few and now in Lemoore(1hr from ButtonWillow) or the next year while my wife finishes up her Nursing degree
instagram:2bvader
I've always loved roadsters since first owning an S2000 in the early 2000s but got married and had unexpected expenses so I had to let it go.
Once letting go of the car I found myself going crazy without being able to do my hobby so scrapped some money and sourced a 94 Miata B package with a hardtop for shy of 3k in excellent cosmetic condition. Unfortunately found out that the keyway was worn past repair so I had to replace the motor right off the bat. Not having a lot of experience with Miata's I found that this car was not hard to work on.
Threw some TRM rims asap!
My intention for the car was to enjoy some weekend canyon runs and found some people locally with the same passion. Personally, I don't think the car's aesthetics are not of car show nature so I am very happy to meet people that had a spirited sense of car style which is pretty rare in my area.
15x9 6ul on 225 rs3, blackbird Fabworx single bar, Kirkey attached harness bar, Racing Beat header and intake
After a few years of canyon driving and few track days, I found myself wanting more power but I did not want to sacrifice reliability. At the time I was on clubroadster.net more because every time I came on miataturbo.net someone was getting roasted and everyone seemed like ********. After creeping around trying to get knowledge what was needed to go turbo I started understanding the why everyone responds the way they do. I came to the conclusion that going turbo in a Miata was more of a privilege and not a right, you had to earn the knowledge by sitting and reading lol.
Fast forward, the turbo build has been done for the last 2 years with several track days and weekend drives with no issues at all.
The only picture you care about. Wastegate and EBC, tuned on e85 only.
I didn't do anything for 2 years on the car other than track it and the Trackspeed bbk.
