The wife and I have.... decent driving records, but a lot of stuff happened long enough ago that they dont care.
Hagerty started out at $1450/yr, that was with good covereage and 15k value. After making everything the absolute minimum and a value of 10k, it came down to $740/yr. *** that. Im going with heacock. 100/300k, 16k declared value, $391/yr.
Also, all 3 SADfab members builds are at the top of the list, lol

moog upper bjs installed
tip- use a pipe when pressing the new ones in. I just used a scrap of plate to level the arm out, and it just bent the outer lip of the arm, and went in crooked any way.
the dumbass marks clearly evident in the pic

Anyway, the mazda BJ isnt as bad as I though it was, just needs a new boot. Im going to keep them around in case moog is sourcing from china and these fail apart.

Yea, therye just 1/4-28 straights. Moog usually includes them, I think they just forgot.
No tack weld on the BJ (what im assuming youre talking about). It went in really tight, and it doesnt see much load, especially now that I have delrin FUCA bushings.

I know years ago moog was top of its game and they still may be. But i fear, and i have found internet anecdotes, that they source from China for certain part numbers. Being that these are a very new part number, would require new forging dies, and the fact that they retail for around $15, doesn't instill much confidence. We shall see.

Its not certain part numbers are from china its that certain times part numbers ship from china. You can walk into chromezone and order two ball joints of the same part number and they'll come in different boxes and one will be made by smog breathing cat eating chain smoking children and the other will be made by angry talking ***** types that like to poop on each other sexually.

Lots of speculation about my profession today.
For the record, I have never worked for moog or dipped ******.
I'm just your typical former sailor turned cat loving, flaming red miata driving firefighter with a knack for creating ***** laiden gimracks for other dudes.
Nothing gay about that.

LMAO, what is my thread turning into. Monk has a "tribology cart". what is tribology? The science(or study) and engineering of interactive surfaces in relative motion.. hhhhhmmmmmm
So i submitted the last of the paper work today and the application to Heacock and they denied me because of "your age and the extensive modifications you have made"....... aarhhhggggggg, I gave hagerty my butthole and now I dont have emissions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got the rear arm poly. This bushing should end up at 70mm wide, and its juts a little over 71mm. luckily all the subframe pockets are a mm oversized. It was still a tight fit, but i hit the subframe with a hammer, and now its not a tight fit.
