Okay here is a real update. Engine progress is going good. Bottom end is together, the head has been disassembled and awaiting valves. I have not ordered anything recently. Just been saving up to buy everything at once so I'm not buying something then waiting and buying something else. It gets tiresome. So the wait presses on. I have had bronchitis for about a week and a half now and I am just now getting over that, so last night I finished up the bottom end.
Anyways, here are final pictures of the bottom end.
I had the entire rotating assembly balanced, they drilled holes in my fancy clutch basket, oh well. So it goes as follows, stock LNC crank, ARP main studs, Eagle rods with ARP 2000 hardware, Wiseco .020 over 8.5:1, Clevite 77 series tri-metal bearings, ARP head studs, and I think that is it.
I disassembled the alternator and cleaned it because it had 240,xxx miles of road grim, I was hoping it would've came out a little nicer, oh well.

Alright, that means I have to finish the harness for your COPs. I still need to do the harness for my LS coils. I haven't felt like doing either of them lol sorry for the delay.

Teaser shot, I really disliked that spacer that I had to make to use that churbo. So I decided to cut the flange off and redo it. I took an inch off and re welded it with the right angle and rotation. It's all good, granted the welds aren't as pretty as they once were, I think I will survive.
And a little teaser shot...

I thought the H series of clevites were discontinued. I tried to find some and thought i was buying them when I bought the clevite 77 series but they were only bi metal after researching. I called them to confirm this and they said they currently did not make a trimetal for the bp. this was back in November.
I wonder how they compare to the acl bearings now that mahle is making performance again... hopefully you have the CB-1453H and not the AL version.

Here is another teaser.
The downpipe fits nice, no more spacer to make it fit. I finally ordered my V8Roadsters upper ball joints, fuel pump and install kit. My catch can was a little snug on the firewall and I didn't feel like messing with it. So I ordered one from Summit, along with more fittings, hose, MSD wires and boot ends so I can make the plug wires.
I have one big *** order from Emilio that I will be placing on Friday, then as far as I know I will be done ordering parts and I just need to assemble, tune, and paint. Trying to get it done before April.

Thanks guys. I got the coil wires made and the coils wired up. The only thing left to do in that area is get my tach working in my dash I also got the catch can mounted. Still waiting on my fittings and hoses to arrive so I can make the lines for the catch can. I also got the rear subframe torn down, glass beaded, painted and stuffed back in with the new 1.8 3.90 Torsen and one piece axles.
I know, it's missing the seals, the guy at NAPA delivered the wrong ones.
Kinda shitty pictures but you get the idea.
