I've always wanted to build a solid axle setup that bolts onto stock subframe bolts. Imagine unbolting a driveshaft, 4 bolts, rolling out a subframe and rolling in a solid axle. Track to strip in minutes.

It would be funny to see people's reactions when you roll up to the strip with an entire rear subframe, axles suspension and slicks on your Harbor Freight tire trailer

**** I could do a track day during the day and then finish up the night at the drag strip.

You're planning on breaking 150 mph in the quarter mile? That's about 700 hp.

I love how everyone plans to break 150 (see "other" thread) and yet I can count on 1 hand the amount of Miata's that broke 130 and on two hands the amount that broke 120

I don't plan on breaking 150mph. I will break 150mph.

Maybe in the texas mile.

Theoretically I could do it with my current gearing and rev limit.

Top speed and speed in the quarter mile are pretty different.

Guise. I have a stock turbo 1.6 maybe making 200hp. I totally expect to hit 200 in the quarter.

You could do it, but you'll need to add more lightness.

I think he means hill will hit 200hp not mph.
Yes you will likely hit 200 4 times or so.

And I am guessing that timeslip is from something like one of these.

Looks pretty similar, with wheelie bars and a chute. I guess the the thing was tubbed.

Can someone look over these tables? We need to go rough in fuel and I want to make sure timing is safe. I might have gone a little to far though. Engine is unknown compression forged pistons. Probably 8.6:1.

Planning on getting to the dyno in the next few weeks. Its not load bearing, but we should be able to get some power runs in.

It has det cans, and they will be used. It will be my first time tooning on the dyno too Go big or go home.
