Did you check the holes for the undercarriage brace? I wonder if the bolt was sheared off when you hit.
Looks like the brace damage came from when you hopped the curb, and then landed down on it. The straight line across the frame rail and brace look like a curb.
Get it running and driving, which looks like rear control arms. Replace the front control arms if they're obviously bent, see if you can align it. If not, then look at replacing the subframe. You can do some surprising things with good control arms and bad subframes. Not that you shouldn't replace it, but could get you driving temporarily. Once all this is done you can move on to body work.

That subframe is really quite far off, I don't think I'd feel comfortable using it again. I figure with the metal bent enough to flake the paint off it's pretty bent. That being said I guess I could always start with control arms and go from there, temporarily like you said.
We will see what I can find.

Oh--also, I ALMOST got this for my demo:
![](https://www.miataturbo.net/attachments/build-threads-57/109900d1397687758-rebuild-all-salvage-miatas-ass-15-mini-mazda-roadster-comparo-1345644222.jpg)
But then they changed their minds.![CRX](https://www.miataturbo.net/images/smilies/pissed.gif)
So I got this instead:![](http://i1033.photobucket.com/albums/a420/trturbofan/IMG_20140415_153853.jpg)
It's no NC, but still a fun little DD. It's a 2012 with the 2.5 in it. About 10 MPG worse than the Skyactiv 2013 that I was driving, and the transmission kinda sucks, but the steering is way better (hydraulic instead of electric), and it's got more goodies like bluetooth and advanced keyless entry and sunroof and plus it's way better looking.
Anyhow. Still pining for the free NC Miata DD. Might still happen this summer. Hehe.
The 10AE I've been waiting for auction on has been assigned.

As am I, but I'm also a sucker for a free power-retractable hardtop sports car that's loaded to the gills ![big grin](https://www.miataturbo.net/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
This car basically just takes me to and from work anyway, most of the "heavy lifting" is done by our Jetta... as evidenced by this thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/insert-bs...-winner-72108/
Edit: by the way, have you ever driven an NC? I find them very, very comfortable, and they ride super smooth. They're really an awesome DD except they don't get amazing fuel economy and they obviously have very little space.

I'm late to this party somehow. How? I don't know.
I had damage to my left rear quarter panel. It was superficial, I had it fixed. There was no suspension damage in my case, it was a moderate collision. Unibody wasn't damaged just put a hole in the skin basically.
Anyway super excited to see the possible resurrection of this fine machine! At least one beer on me when we inevitably get together.
Edit - all of those underchassis braces have built-in fail points. New suspension arms, new braces, new quarter panel. Profit!

Thanks for the input Mobius, I look forward to meeting other Miata owners in the area. Still haven't other than a couple customers of mine.
Jeff, thanks for the offer, I'll definitely let you know!
Chances are good at this point that I'll end up fixing this thing. However, there's one more 10AE I have my eye on. Depends on price and condition, but if it's nice enough and cheap enough I'll spring for it and do the swap. I'll know by next weekend.
Suspense!

Esteemed gentlemen,
I need your advice.
I have a Recaro Profischale SPG, seems like it's a 1992 model. I have done some research and it is a real Recaro, not a knockoff. What I'm having a hard time figuring out is how much this thing is worth.

Love the seat, it's just too narrow for me, only 15" between the bottom bolsters not including the padding. I'm thinking about listing it for $600 just to see if there are any takers.
Suggestions?
Edit: some more searching reveals that they're about $800 apiece online. So I guess something around $400 might be reasonable in the shape these are in? Still looking for input.
