Can anyone tell me why an MS2e would be a bad idea for my setup? This isn't a DD. I've got a trade opportunity for my AEM that would work out sweet and easy for both parties. And involves me saving about $600 vs. Selling my AEM and buying the PNPPro.
Vlad said it's not as good as MS3 but will it be plenty good for my needs? I think so but my research may be incomplete.

EDIT: It's 3:30am and I just realized you were comparing to a PNPpro. I have nothing better to replace my previous comment with. Srys :/

That's alright! Thanks for sharing. The regular MS3 was going to be just dandy for my needs, just for the cost difference I was going to go all out and get the pro. But with this opportunity (trade my AEM for a MSLabs PNP MS2e + cash) for minimal hassle I'm feeling conservative, ha.

IMO many of the things that make the 3 better you wouldn't really desparately need anyway, because racecar. If you're saving a ton of money this way, and the car is not a daily, and its convenient, and most imporantly if this ms2e unit is for your car (pnp) I don't see why not. I've been pretty happy with the last few I tuned, no complaints.

I told you, look here:
MS Labs ECU Comparison Sheet
The processor is half as fast*, it has an 1/8th the processor flash*, it has a 1/16th the processor RAM*, but it has a coprocessor*, one less output, although 4 of those are ignition outputs (can't do V8?), has a few more inputs, doesn't do on board data logging, VVT control is only optional, EGT is optional, it has an input for clutch/brake/neutral*, doesn't do RTC*, and ignition and afr tables are only 12x12. Among other things.
*I have no idea what these things mean in relation to what it can do.

Hmm that's weird, that sheet doesn't show boost by gear but I was under the impression that it DOES do boost by gear. Weird.
Also: I do not know how you found that page, lol. I was looking for it and ended up simply reading a couple threads about it in Rev's vendor section.

Very good.
At this point I don't care about specs, I care about what works. I am confident I can get my money back out of it if it doesn't do what I want it to do. Onward and upward. I hope shipping to Canada won't be too expensive, eh.

Happy thanksgiving.
FMMFL!!
I wasn't even the one driving this time... Like father like son. That's what I get for taking it out when it's wet. Dad sure is beating himself up over it though.
I am just at a loss here. I.... Ugh.
Man... What should I do next? Now it's the other QP and I'm sure there's more damage.
It's DEFINITELY re-shell time. Good chance will go NA instead of NB. Who knows. For now.... I cry.
