First off I'd like to thank Kraken for dealing with me. Crazy honest guys over there and I must admit, they handled my neediness like a champ.
Quick update:
Ordered my Kraken 3" exhaust with the Simons muffler, looks like a great quality piece. Simons aren't common this side of the pond but from info I did find they fit the bill for what I'm looking for sound wise. I'll definitely add in some sound clips once my build is up and running.
I have been researching more on spark and fueling, and ended up ordering a new set of ID1050X injectors. The 255lph deatschwerks I have should provide what I need for my goals anyway. Worse case get an upgraded unit and regulator if there are any problems. I'm still not convinced that I need dual feed but if any of you out there have anecdotal experiences saying otherwise I'm all ears!
Build is coming together, the EFR6758 coming in the next week or so along with the turbo blanket. ARP Head studs are being "fulfilled" but I'm still hopeful.
At least the the FM spring compressor is coming in this week so I can at least finish the head work as I'm waiting for more parts to arrive. I'll post some update pics as I make some sort of material and tangible progress and not just a lighter wallet. Lol
have the full kraken + simons, sounds GREAT in person... its not overly loud, zero drone, you are going to be really happy with it!
Few more goodies came in, but first a quick update:
Machinist needs another week due to staff vacation constraints
ARP head studs 218-4701 still on back order
I went with FM's stage 2 happy meal clutch kit with 10.3lb flywheel that should adequately handle my power goals
FAB9 stage 1 Intercooler was what was recommended to me, 350hp rated and should help with spool being smaller than their stage 2 I/C and my 1.9l needing to spin up that 6758
In order to pair well with the Supermiata Qmax Coolant Reroute, I went with the Supermiata Crossflow Radiator because the rad outlet is further towards the passenger side to minimize the angles needed to go around the throttle body inlet
EGR delete plates ordered through Miataroadster
TURBO ARRIVED!
I started cleaning the head and valve stems
With the block delays, the head studs on back order and Kraken on vacation for my exhaust, I'm not holding my breath that this build will be done before the season ends
FWIW, I'm running 20-21 PSI on 93 with a Kraken low mount and 6258 with pretty conservative timing. Virtual Dyno says its making 319whp which is right around your 330+ goal. I'm sure you could pull a little power out of it than what I'm making

That's great to know!
What is it like to be making more than 300whp in your car?
can you share the virtual dyno plot? I'm curious to see the boost too!

Just did a little snooping at your build thread. Lots of great info there, I will be reading through it. Good stuff Ryan!

Dude the power is great! It feels so good and these EFRs spool up quick. I'm guessing you saw the plot in the build thread but for some reason the boost isn't in that plot from Vlad. Here is the same one but with boost and AFRs. I'm really interested to see how it feels with the 6spd and diff. I'll be following along on your build as well!
Unfortunately I ordered the wrong valve shims so it's back to waiting for the correct ones to come through but at least I managed to shuffle them enough so my Intake side is to spec. Progress none-the-less!
A couple of cam cap bolts broke as well, a bit concerning so I ordered new ones throughout.
Did some test fitting of the Kraken manifold and EFR so I can check where best to route the oil return lines.
Then I noticed this. A bit tight for a nut don't you think? 😝
That one is gonna give you troubles. It's going to have to be the first bolt on with the turbine housing pulled away from the manifold and I'm pretty sure you won't be able to double-nut it like the others. I guess that's just part of "EFR Life".
94 octane? Are you in Canada? If so I'm super curious to see your dyno runs when you're done. I have similar specs and my dyno tuner says he pushed it to the limits at 20psi, but I only squeaked out 280whp uncorrected, 265whp corrected. So I'm curious if our 94 octane just sucks or it's my dyno tuner. I saw charts with comparable builds and I should be atleast 320whp. The only difference is gas quality or the tuner.

Was your tuner able to say what the bottle neck is of your setup? Did he/she find mbt with detcans on the dyno? There are many parameters at play. What was your actual torque at?
Yes, I'm in Ontario and I will definitely be sharing once the setup is dyno'd.
Ps. Your numbers do seem low, but remember not all dynos are created equal.

That's how I did it on my EFR/Kraken setup. You won't get a double nut on that one
Update
Work has been busy but managed to find some time to get the build moving along. Got the car lifted and started getting the old engine prepped for the transplant.
DId I mention the FM ninja cam tool made the belt job incredibly easy?
Finalized my intercooler piping setup, Kraken's hotside behind the headlight and FM's to the throttle body.
Blowby will be handled by a breather on the non PCV side then Moroso AOS on the PCV (e-301-13-890).
Started to disassemble the BP4W and got the tranny removed. Helped clarify one of my questions with the 237hp/243ftlbs I was running... Tranny never slipped and it's because the PO had a stg1 FM clutch installed.
I've started planning out the VVT wiring, CAS wiring to the back of the engine and the complete rewrap of the BP4W wiring harness for the BP6D drop into the MSM.
Anything you guys want me to document and check between the BP4W and BP6D?
