Wait, are they really $25 cheaper?

:squint:

aidandj 05-26-2015 07:06 PM

Fab9 has them listed as cheaper than id1000s. I don't buy it.
1800 for 8.

EO2K 05-26-2015 07:17 PM

Dunno what to tell you. :dunno: Someone better tell Fab he's underselling his product.

aidandj 05-26-2015 07:19 PM

Has anyone purchased them from him? Might just he a typo.

EO2K 05-26-2015 07:23 PM

I'm going through TSE for my ID fix, so no.

Ryan_G 05-26-2015 08:37 PM

They are twice as expensive because they are currently hand assembled from what I understand. I was researching them myself and that was the answer I was finding. It sounded like a negative feedback loop. They are hand assembled because there isn't enough demand. However, there is little demand because they are crazy expensive due to being hand assembled.

Sweet jesus, those prices are accurate? Yeah, that's a whole lot of "nope" form me. ID1000s it is! I'll send the email tonight.

18psi 05-27-2015 09:16 AM

I love me some quality injectors, but mannn $900 is steep.
Yeah but at least your getting twice the flow with 2000cc.

18psi 05-27-2015 09:55 AM

Yes but won't be anywhere near as easy to control at idle, even being ID
I think the 1300's are the largest "perfect oem like idle" injector

ScottyP3821 05-27-2015 10:59 AM

Does "trying" on other cars with much more powerful ecu's count?

aidandj 05-27-2015 11:27 AM

I mean I guess...

Thanks! Its mostly a stream of consciousness train-wreck, but if you've enjoyed it, who am I to argue?

As you have told many noobs.......if it ain't on a miata or BP engine it doesn't mean shit

EO2K 05-27-2015 12:18 PM

Well I'm not going to be the guinea pig. ID1300 are lolexpensive and 2000s are way WAY more fuel than I'll ever need. I'll be fine with the ID1000s

Remember I'm not creative or innovative. Everything in this thread is derivative. Tons of examples of ID1000 configurations I can copy :)
