@gesso, order this: https://www.amazon.com/Hallman-PRO-R...dp/B00IFWMQLG/ It's Prime so it'll be at your place on like Wednesday, and you can order the fancy in cabin cable like Andy at some point later.

Who says you can't have an EBC? Put the MBC on the thing for when the EBC is powered down
Wastegate/MBC -> EBC SomeOfIt -> EBC AllOfIt
I've got Thursday and Friday off. Want to try to do a set of valve stem seals and a clutch in one day?

I've been to all 50 states, and Nebraska ranks #50 for me.
There are a few states I like more than Indiana, but not many compete with the cost of living and near total absence of government intrusion in everyday living.
Plus, with the money you save on living expenses, you can afford legitimate vacations.

I have a history of breaking the car at this event...
I am mostly kidding, but I may wire it open when Gabby's driving(if she wants).
I'm happy to help you with valve stem seals if you actually wanna fix em, but I think I'll hold off on the clutch until afterwards. Lemme know?

I love the rambling that happens in this thread. Somehow more entertaining than the rambling that happens elsewhere.
I might have an MBC somewhere in my garage. Pretty sure I do. If I remember, I'll look tonight.
I hear you on the housing thing, though things aren't as ridiculous here as they are there.

Gesso, you have a history of breaking this car at this track
Dunno if I want to drive up to the BA to do just stem seals. I sat here and realized I was pretty sure the seals are in your garage and the tools are in mine

My history at Miatas@MRLS is:
2009: lost a coolant hose on-track Saturday. Meatball flag, fill it back up, steaming out the tailpipe. Goes home on a tow truck with suspected HG failure. Ultimately leads to building the motor the first time.
2010: new built motor runs well on Saturday, but I was rained out on Sunday.
2011: no event held
2012: Built motor grenades 3rd gear on the 5-speed, car goes home on the trailer.
2013: Car runs OK, but not run all that hard due to rain.
2014: Throttle body screw lets loose, trashes motor & turbo.
2015: Car runs well.
So out of 6 events I've had major failures at half of them, limited running in 2 of them due to rain, and only one has really been flawless.
Hoping to make it 2 flawless ones next weekend! I just hope the truck makes it...

Buddy of mine that I often visit lives in Santa Cruz. Same story. Insane-o
Luckily he rents from his father in law, so gets the most insane deal in the universe (14 acre property literally next door to mystery spot, for what you'd pay for a 1 bedroom ghetto apartment)
The people that live here and commute to bay, are the people that own mansions here.
